New Dragon Experiences
Who: Shin-Ah and YOU
Broadcast: Nope
Action: Wonderduck and Iskaulit
When: Soon after his arrival
Wonderduck
[Shin-Ah's first experience with confetti has him completely startled. So the first thing he does when there's strange noise and suddenly things flying at him is duck and cover. Which means someone might find him just crouched holding his head while he wonders what is attacking him. He doesn't have his sword so he's not entirely sure how to fight it.
Seriously. He's never seen this stuff before. Please send help. He needs it SO BADLY.]
Iskaulit
[After the scare on the Wonderduck, Shin-Ah can be found wandering the Iskaulit. Really he's familiar with the layout so he's not actually lost. (He can see through walls, guys. He knows where he's going.) However, it probably looks like he's lost. Because Shin-Ah will be walking one way then stop and look around before randomly picking another direction.
Should he go here? What about here?
In truth, he's on his way to the forge that he saw. He's just exploring on his way there so he can know the layout of this place well to know where everything is. It just seems like a good idea right now.]

Iskaulit
[After the scare on the Wonderduck, Shin-Ah can be found wandering the Iskaulit. Really he's familiar with the layout so he's not actually lost. (He can see through walls, guys. In truth, he's on his way to the forge that he saw. He's just exploring on his way there so he can know the layout of this place well to know where everything is. It just seems like a good idea right now.]

Iskaulit
On the opposite side is an elven wizard with dark skin and light hair, fastidiously writing notes and drawing diagrams. He's got the entirety of the room plastered in chalk, and he's working hard, muttering to himself. Taako doesn't often delve into the whole arcane "Yes, I actually have to study to be a wizard" thing, but here he is right now doing just that.
He glances up when he sees someone standing outside his illusory wall and frowns. Can he see him?
Just to check? Taako makes a face, a rude gesture and sticks his tongue out.]
no subject
Rather than be put off by the gesture and faces though, Shin-Ah tilts his head like a confused puppy. This person can see through the wall blocking the door? Then maybe the wall isn't real?
Reaching forward he goes to touch the wall and see if his hand will pass through. Because other walls on the ship seem so solid...]
no subject
[That masked guy can definitely see him, which means others might be able to as well. Whatever magic Taako had running wasn't enough to keep out prying eyes, even if that illusion had worked before.
With a flick of his wrist, a powerful wind rips though the room he's in, demolishing all of his challenge drawings. Then the illusion falls and Taako stands up, arms crossed.]
Well? What do you want, Peeping Tom Bodett?
no subject
Looking back he sees the illusion is gone and there's a door again.
Well back to looking at the person.]
The wall was...wrong.
[Shin-Ah looks past him and... The notes are gone. Not that he could read them anyway.]
...sorry.
no subject
[He sighs and starts picking up pieces paper, folding them up and shoving them into his pockets. He'll have to find another room to do this in. Away from weirdos in masks.]
So? How'd you see through the spell? It's not easy breaking a wizard's illusion.
no subject
The walls aren't illusions.
[Basically he saw right through them.]
no subject
[Where did this guy grow up? Under a rock?
He quickly snatches the papers away from him and frowns.]
Why are you spying on me?

Wildcard | Planetside?
[Kadaj has a short tolerance for things that start to annoy him, and this is going to be one of those times. He makes an annoyed sound and shakes his head.]
It doesn't matter what it's for. It's probably junk anyway.
no subject
[If it's junk then why is someone selling it. Wouldn't that be a terrible idea? He thinks so anyway. It's...confusing.]
Should they know?
[That they're selling junk?]
no subject
People throw all their trash here. They probably already do.
[Weird but amusing. Maybe he'll keep him around.]
What's your name?
no subject
[If people already know about the trash though... He looks around. If this is all trash then how come people are living in it and selling it?
Maybe this is just normal and this isn't trash to them.
People are still pretty confusing to him.]
no subject
[And there's a childish, almost cherubic way about him now, suddenly, as though someone changed the slide on a projector. He motions around at their surroundings.]
There's a place like this back on Gaia, Edge they called it, but it used to be called something else before. It's broken roads and piles of junk, but humans make houses and shops and things out of it.
[He giggles, shaking his head.]
Like rats.
no subject
[He remembers watching them a lot when he was in the cave. Because it was something to do to pass the time when he was sitting in his empty room all alone. His village hadn't wanted anything to do with him so he'd done that instead.
So he kind of knows a lot about rats these days.]

Iskaulit - Some Rando Hallway
[They make fear so that...it all stops inside.
...shit.]
Wait. You scare people to death?
no subject
So he nods.
Yes. He basically scares people to death.]
no subject
Okay. I can handle that. Any other weird shit you can do I should know about?
no subject
...I can see...well..
[Watch him fumble around trying to tell the man how this power of his works. He's really not sure where to start.]
no subject
...uh...
[Kid. Your eye "holes" aren't holes at all.]
no subject
Shin-Ah finally settles for pointing in different directions for where things are on this ship.]
A forge is there. A pool of water is there. A place of ice is there. Gardens. Foxes.
[He can see where all of them are. Every single one. From right where they are standing this moment. And yes. That means he can see through that mask despite there being no eye holes.]

Because.
Didn't he just...?
But this looks just like...?
Please don't mind him staring. He's very confused.]
no subject
Need something, bud?
no subject
Okay. He can live with this.]
Mm...
[He looks down now, like he's figuring out what to say. Then he lifts his head and shakes it. No. He doesn't need anything.
Walking closer, he goes to look and see what the forge has to offer. Because apparently he doesn't have a sword anymore. He knows that the weapons here are supposed to help but he just feels like he can't protect anyone without a sword.]
...sorry...
[He means for staring. It's so easy to forget that makes people uncomfortable.]
no subject
[Her response is an amused smile, arms crossing in front of her chest. She keeps a careful, subtle distance from him, but he doesn't seem all that threatening, so it's just simple precaution.]
Aren't you usually supposed to do something wrong before you apologize for it? Or are you planning something nefarious? Because that don't jive with me, we only just met.
no subject
Maybe he should have...said why he was sorry. Social interactions are surprisingly hard.]
...for staring.
[He looks back at her but otherwise stays where he is. Nope. He might seem intimidating to some but really he's as fluffy as the fur draped over his head.]
