Sweet dreams are made of these...
( for A-M characters )
Before you post your topcomment, please:
1. Check the first letter of your character's name as its written in our tags. A-M names comment here, and N-Z names go to the other post.
2. Make a note in your topcomment if anything especially triggering or graphic might show up in the Calibration. If you're not sure if something's worth noting or not, we suggest listing it anyway, just to err on the side of caution.
3. Put your character's name (it can be shortened or different from the tag, this time) in the subject of your comment. This will help visitors find you easily, and help us update the list below.
4. Post your comment! It's fine if everyone's Calibrations end up looking and reading very different from one another. As long as you're having fun and following our guidelines, you're good to go. :)
5. If you have any questions or concerns during Calibrations, you are welcome to send them towards the mod team at any time, as always.

But then she notices that she is not cold. And that those are not just planets, floating around the Earth.
And that Clay is there. Talking. About Earth.
...where is a wall that she can bang her head into?
Cautiously, she exhales and breathes... okay. Good.
Well... she tries to approach her captain first, but then he just... floats out of the way. Awkward. One of the objects orbiting the planet comes whizzing by, and Rogue grabs instinctively bats it away -- a brightly glowing star.]

When the world fades back into view again, Rogue find herself in the hallway of a ship that looks a lot like one of the fleet ships. It's not the Vanquish, that's for sure; the coloring and the shape of the hallway are a little off. There's nothing too interesting here, as one end of the hall is blocked by a mass of darkness, but she'll be able to hear a voice talking on the other, lighter end of the hallway. It doesn't sound like Clay, but it seems like that's where the action is going on right now. Will she go towards it? Or look around first?]

Are you sure you'd like to be with me for whatever happens?
[There's a small pause from Clay as he processes what was said to him, the thing that Rogue couldn't hear. After that, though, he reaches out to take Allen's hand - strangely enough, the hand he holds doesn't look human, but is entirely red. Who knows what it even is?]
I'm absolutely, 100% sure I'd like to be with you for whatever happens.
[Allen pauses at that, looking down at their hands, a little surprised by all of this... and then he ducks his head and gives a small, quiet laugh.]
... You really are something, Cowboy.

She is really, really not supposed to be here.
Let's... go... back toward that MASS OF DARKNESS, that is totally going to be less embarrassing than accidentally spying on her captain and his boyfriend, shit.]

This is not what is hers to see, how embarrassing.
But well. It's not as though it's the first time she's had to sit through the intimate scene of someone else's relationship.
Still, Rogue hesitates for a long time, leaning up against the wall with her arms crossed and waiting before going back toward the light. If that's the only way she's got out of here, she's just gonna suck it up.]
