Sweet dreams are made of these...
( for A-M characters )
Before you post your topcomment, please:
1. Check the first letter of your character's name as its written in our tags. A-M names comment here, and N-Z names go to the other post.
2. Make a note in your topcomment if anything especially triggering or graphic might show up in the Calibration. If you're not sure if something's worth noting or not, we suggest listing it anyway, just to err on the side of caution.
3. Put your character's name (it can be shortened or different from the tag, this time) in the subject of your comment. This will help visitors find you easily, and help us update the list below.
4. Post your comment! It's fine if everyone's Calibrations end up looking and reading very different from one another. As long as you're having fun and following our guidelines, you're good to go. :)
5. If you have any questions or concerns during Calibrations, you are welcome to send them towards the mod team at any time, as always.
spoilers okay
Thanks. I'll ask more when we're... even remotely somewhere near safe. Suggestions on where to go?

It's up to you. Forwards is under construction right now, so I wouldn't recommend that way if you want to get somewhere safe.
The other three paths are safer. The right hallway is the where the relationship data is kept. The left hallway, personality data. And the way back is the Force. Obviously.

Once a little safer inside the hallway, she slows to a walk, looking around as they make their way down the path.]
So, personality data?

[The hallway is lined with paintings on both sides. Most of them are of Ahsoka, and most of them seem to involve fighting of some description. Beneath each painting is a small title card. Predictably, most of them have emotional words attached to them.]

All these are you?

... You can view it, if you like. [She motions a hand forward towards the painting.] I don't mind.

Here's the context: you're running through the industrial pipeline system for your life. You've just escaped from prison, wrongly detained for a crime you didn't commit. But despite your protestations of innocence, nobody believes you. And the more time passes, the more evidence turns up that seems to miraculously implicate you, even though you know you didn't do it.
So escape is the only option. If you stay, you'll be found guilty, and you have no intention of going down for this. So you run. You run and you run, with Clone Troopers hot on your tail, determined to escape and find the real murderer who's framing you for this. It's clear now that's the only way you'll be able to clear your name.
But losing the Clone Troopers isn't easy. They're trained for this-- but then again, so are you. They've given you a rough chase out of the military prison so far, and though the pipeline is making it easier, you're still far from ditching them. Your heart thuds in your chest like it's going to explode, even though you're at the peak of physical fitness and could probably continue running for hours. It's the terror, though, not the exertion.
Finally, it seems like you've made some distance between yourself and the Troopers, and you run towards the light at the end of the pipeline. Only... it's not exactly an exit, you discover. It's an exit that looks out over the thousands of levels of Coruscant. You know you can jump several hundred storeys and land safely without injury through use of the Force, but thousands is pushing it. What do you do now? If you backtrack, the Troopers hot on your tail will surely find you.
Right on cue, that's when Anakin catches up with you, and the conversation in the memory plays out. Oh, your master. You want so badly to stop running. To go with him. To believe the things he's saying-- that you could turn yourself in and it would be okay. That he'd protect you, and he would prove your innocence. But you know it's not true. You trust Anakin, but you don't trust anyone else. Not any more. Someone in the Jedi Order is framing you. Someone is deliberately setting you up to take the fall.
"It's time for you to trust me now," you say to Anakin, imploring him to understand. You trust him. Does he trust you?
You jump. He could easily have stopped you. ... But he doesn't.
He trusts you.]

What the hell? [The words are quiet, more of a hiss than anything else.]

[She faces her.] Can you answer?

[She looks worried, slight remnants of the memory lingering. But that the same time, there's concern for Ahsoka, too.]

During that time, she began to claim that she hadn't worked alone. That she had had help from inside the Temple. From a Jedi. When I went alone to question her for more specifics... she died.
When someone dies in a locked cell and you're the only other person in there... it doesn't exactly look good for you. I was arrested for her murder and on suspicion of being her terrorist accomplice.

Don't you guys have, I don't know, a mind reading thing or something? Truth serum?
no subject
We can sense emotions, and we can sometimes sense a lie. Sometimes. But the other problem is... Jedi are also capable of cloaking their feelings, words, presence, and so on and so forth. So being able to sometimes sense a lie is only useful when talking to a baseline individual. When speaking with another Force-user, it's virtually meaningless.

Let's go back.

Lead the way. I'm only here as a guide.

When you get to the other hallway, the stone statues loom larger than ever. You reach the first two, paired either side of the corridor.
The nameplate on the first statue to your left reads "Anakin Skywalker." It's a statue of a young man, maybe in his mid-20s, standing in a heroic pose. Lightsaber in one hand. A small scar adorns his right eye.
Opposite him, to your right, stands a statue of another, slightly older man. Bearded, wearing the same garb as the first, also lightsaber in hand. His nameplate reads "Obi-Wan Kenobi."
Beneath both their nameplates appear to be more text, but it's smaller and hard to read from a distance. You'd need to go closer to read what they say.
Beyond the statues of Anakin and Obi-Wan lie many, many more such statues, but you can't make out their nameplates from here. What is apparent is that they're not all human. One is very short, and looks like... a gremlin? Another looks like it might have tentacles coming out of it's head. Another still further down looks like he's wearing a gas mask. There's also another statue of a woman who looks so regal and elegant, she must be royalty. And another statue of a woman who seems to have the same horns and tails that Ahsoka does, only hers are much larger. And... there's one curious statue that seems to be in a state of complete disrepair-- like a lightning bolt has struck it down the middle.
Towards the end of the corridor, you can just make out from here, looks like statues that are still being built. They're too far from here, though, you'd need to go closer to make anything out.]

Another of your people?
no subject
Ahsoka simply nods at the question.
The name plate reads "Shaak Ti," and she looks absolutely formidable. But in the good way. The kind of warrior you are glad is on your side. She's maybe in her mid thirties, but it's hard to tell since she's an alien.
The text below her name plate simply reads, "Jedi Master, fellow togruta."
As you read those words, you get a sense of who this person was to Ahsoka. A Master on the Jedi High Council, someone she looked up to, someone wise but distant. She taught Ahsoka about the traditions of their people, since Ahsoka came to the Temple too young to know them herself. She gave Ahsoka her first togruta sash to wear-- a traditional garment worn by their people. She taught her about the significance of the akul-tooth headdress-- the specific piece of jewellery they both wear on their forehead, signifying victory over a great enemy and the strength of a great warrior.
She is always even-tempered and wise, this person, despite her strength on the battlefield. She truly embodies the Jedi sensibility of wisdom before action. Although Shaak Ti seems to have been careful to keep Ahsoka at a distance and never get too close, it seems Ahsoka respects her a great deal nonetheless.]

What happened here?
no subject
As you get closer to the ruined statue, you can just make out the damaged nameplate: Barriss Offee.
Rubble lies around the bottom of it-- presumably the broken pieces, not yet cleared away. The statue itself is too far damaged to make it out entirely, but it looks like it might have once been a young girl or woman, possibly around Ahsoka's age.
If you get even closer, the first row of words beneath the name plate might have once read, "Fellow Padawan, Best Friend" except that they're now scratched out. Beneath them stands the new title: "Traitor."
In the shadow of this statue, you feel... betrayed. Overwhelmed. Confused. Lost. Uncertain. Upset. Rage. Fear. Loneliness. Pain.]

Octavia walks backwards, still warily eyeing the debris, before turning and speeding up her pace to reach the initial welcoming statues. She takes a hesitant step towards the one labelled Obi-Wan.]
