Who: Toph and YOU potentially
Broadcast: Everyone ever
Action: Blue Fish!
When: August 19, late morning

[A broadcast flickers on, and it's Toph! She's lounging on the weight bench in the cargo hold, lazily moving two fingers up and down. Occasionally the hand weights are caught in the side of the feed, following her hand motions.]

All right knuckle heads, here's the deal. There are shuttle races happening, and I don't mean the sissy "see who can reach the other ship first" nonsense. I mean the "go so fast your engine burns out and your teeth still are still vibrating when you're done" type. The proper type.

[Toph stops moving her hand, and there's a loud, metallic CLUNK in the background as the weight falls to the ship's floor. She stands up, a grin slowly creeping across her face. It's actually somewhat menacing...]

So, I wanna know who's up for some fun. We can make it interesting with bets. Money, things, favors, whatever floats your little boat. Let's see how many of you won't wuss out when you're given an actual challenge.

Make the transfers out to Toph Beifong.

Who: Margie and YOU
Broadcast: Video!
Action: SS Bishop
When: August 19, afternoon.

[ Video; ]

Ah...it works. Hello.

[ The very bulky woman on the screen smiles slightly and waves to the camera; she doesn't really have that much to say, it seems -- she follows up her 'hello' by holding up a piece of paper with some badly drawn cats on it.

The people in the picture -- there seem to be 5 in all, two of whom seem extremely familiar -- are very cartoon-like, and it's clear that she is no artist. One of them -- a cat with blue hair -- has hearts drawn around him, one is singing, and the other unfamiliar one seems to have a permanent scowl. ]

My miqo'te have gone missing. [ Because that explains everything? ] They are small, and have ears... [ She waves her free hand up over her head, indicating cat ears. ] And tails. One carries a large book, one a bow, and the other three carry around large swords.

If found, please return to Margie Detemps. That's me. Thank you.

[ She reaches, as if to turn off the camera -- and then pauses. ]

Oh...and, what is everyone's favorite rock?

[ Yes, she nods. This is a good introductory question to the world at large and obviously a very important one. ]

[ Action; ]

[ If you want to catch her on the ship, she can be found wandering around with the same poster in her hands, looking in the most weird places she can think of to place a smaller person than herself. In containers, under doors... ]

Who: Caesar & u
Broadcast: Fleetwide!
Action: Iskaulit & waystations!
When: 8/17 - 8/22

I was just hailed by a shuttle on the way from the Tourist to the Iskaulit . . . I understand this has been happening regularly? Do we have any idea who these shuttles belong to? Or are people just racing strangers with no information whatsoever?

[He sounds moderately pressed about this. But an important thing to note about Caesar is that, while he acts mostly responsible most of the time, if you dare him into something hard enough, he will pretty much always do it.]

[When he isn't passive-aggressively complaining on the network, he starts hesitantly exploring the Iskaulit, poking his head into its empty rooms with the (fairly irrational) fear that he'll see one of the bugs around any corner. Eventually he'll get to moving a little bit more slowly, studying the way the ship is built, how it's different from the Tourist and the Marsiva and the other ships he's been on.]

[Later, he makes his way to the nearest waystation, which is, naturally, a huge disappointment. He can be found loudly sighing in pretty much any location on the station, but especially over the clothes, which are all a few sizes too small. And there are no backwards suspenders anywhere.]

Who: Crowley and you!
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: Iskaulit
When: Right now!

[Crowley isn't in his usual place, lounging before the communications array aboard the Pathstone. Today, he seems to be wandering one of the big, empty spaces within the Iskaulit, looking around him with a small level of appraisal. ]

Back in Paradisa, there were a number of bars around the place. Gave people a place to go spend time, drown their sorrows, maybe people watch, or just sit in a corner and ignore the fact they were trapped in a magical soul-eating castle. One of my favourite places was a bar called the Lux. Great place, that.

[He wanders over to one part of the room, holding one hand out like he's trying to judge the space. ]

Discounting the fleeting places we end up on our travels, we haven't got anywhere like that here. Our own Drift Fleet captives place. Seen as we have this floating lot of empty space following us now, we might as well use it. So this is me, laying claim to this space for a bar that will be named at a later date. Something classy, I think.

Of course, work isn't my thing, so anyone interested in joining me in this grand and marvellous enterprise? I'd say I'll make it worth your while, but I think having our own bar will do that all by itself.
