but forget all of that. she's found a book store.]
Aaah, this is great!
[she can't talk above a whisper, but you can still find her giggling away at the shelves, pulling down book after book... she wants this one, and this one, and this one...!]
Fiction, fiction... Oh, "History of the Galactic Red Zone..." And this one...
[it's clearly taking all of her self-restraint not to just press her face into the pages. the pile of books in her arms is getting heavy, stacked almost up to her chin. someone... maybe help her, before she spots the encyclopedia section...]

Oh! Oh, sorry!
no subject
N-no, it's fine. You can have this one, I probably have enough...
[ All her drama probably does wonders for her ratings, but it's probably best if she doesn't spend all her credits on books. ]
no subject
N-No, I don't even know what book it is. It might be really boring! Not that you read boring books, or anything. I, um.
[yeah. guess who has the social grace of a pile of socks.]

Wow, you caught them...

BOOKS. GLORIOUS, WONDERFUL BOOKS.]

Sokka! I know you're excited, but be excited quietly!
[like her! you know, the person who can't yell.]

[There is no shushing him. He is unshushable. ]

Coil has barely enough time to glance toward the wandering tower of books and realize that he recognizes the face attached to it, before he also notices a particularly old and beautiful tome in the lower half of said stack.
under any normal circumstances, he would have just noticed the thing and moved on with his life. today, however... he can't help himself.
he just kind of watches in horror as his own hand darts out to yank on the book he wants.]
no subject
[oh noooo but she can barely say anything before that book is yanked out of the bottom of the stack and all of the books on top of it go flapping cover-over-spine onto the floor. it makes a huge noise. they are probably being stared at.]
no subject
whatever, forget the store owner who is probably now very irate. forget the girl whose shopping he just interrupted. he looks so annoyed and immediately crouches down to start picking up the books, as if he wasn't the one who caused the trouble in the first place.]

[He gives a snort of amusement] Hi Krista. Find some good reads?

So with his strong nose firmly buried in a book, he takes a step back and bumps into someone. He makes a startled sound, and says something in a language that sounds like Latin before he gets his bearings.]
A-ah, forgive me, I was a bit distracted. I don't normally go trampling strangers.
no subject
Oh, that's okay. I'm kind of, um, trample-able.
[she... starts compulsively peering at whatever book he's got in his hand, making out the title... and might already have a couple of books on magic and magical creatures in her stack...]
Hey, what is that one?
no subject
"Practical Applications of Illusionary Magic". Not the most exciting read, but better than nothing.
[He holds the book like it was something precious, something that was familiar. He spent all of his time in Skyhold reading books. Growing up, books were constant companions.]
