[ on the night of the 28th, the lecture hall will open its gates though it'll look remarkably different. Winn and Cisco would have decorated the corridors leading to it with Jack-o'-lanterns made from the pumpkins gathered at the little patch on the planet. The hall itself will be similarly decorated, along with other traditional scary Halloween decorations made from paper and fabric ( don't ruin the little paper spiders, they took hours to make! ). There will be music from various times of Earth-1 and Earth-3, so don't be surprised to find Lady Gaga playing alongside the Spice Girls! Feel free to make requests or otherwise, just show your skills on the dance floor!

There will be a bar run by Nami offering free sodas, though you'll have to pay for your own alcohol ( remember, don't drink and fly! ). Alongside the bar, characters will find a few tables offering candy from Earth-1 won by Cisco at the game room with a little sign reading TAKE ONE, LEAVE SOME FOR OTHERS and quite a lot of space chips and protein dips as well as various candy from all over the different planets ( cleverly hoarded by Winn! ) and a large selection of pumpkin pies and pumpkin treats. Characters will also find a line leading to Cisco's trusty ice cream machine, though it'll only offer peanut butter flavored sorbet.

At the corner of the hall there will be a karaoke machine with a little sign-up sheet. Characters could sign up solo or in groups and list the song they'd like to sing. Keep in mind though, the entire hall will be able to hear your rendition of Sexy and I Know it!

Adventure-seeking characters will be able to follow signs reading HAUNTED HOUSE and reach a large hall that was turned into a maze by large cardboard blocks painted black or covered by dark fabrics. Making it out of the maze won't be too hard and the maze itself won't be too frightening but will be mildly startling. It'll include some nifty engineered animatronics of witches, scarecrows, scary clowns and skeletons as well as holograms of ghosts! The song featured in the invitation will also be heard here, on repeat. It's a good break from the dancing and for some private conversations and moments.

Remember, costume are mandatory! you don't want to be caught by tonight's pumpkin kings, do you? ]

Always. [ pressing a quick kiss to her neck before straightening up. ] Especially when you're playing dirty with me. [ deprive me of cute he sees what she does there! ]

[She smiles warmly at him even with all this "dirty" talk.] Think there will be rumors about Steve kissing guys after this?

I'm a great costume maker - but no one's that good. You're missing way too much - [ gesturing height and width - no one's mistaking her for steve. ]

Hey, I bring a little extra too. [Gesturing to her chest.]

A perfect amount of extra.

[Just smiling at him.] So, have you had any surprise people recognize your costume?

Not yet - have you seen Steve yet? Or more like - has he seen you?

I have seen Steve and that went well and I met Peggy who apparently was around for that costume. So look at you introducing me to new people without knowing it.

[ around for the costume, sure if that's what she went with, he won't correct the impression.

Peggy's awesome, so you guys were definitely overdue - go me.

She sounded relieved to hear you were behind it. I think she thought I might be mocking him.

[ that gets a worried face, or as much of it as the mask allows to show. ]

I should talk to her - [ apologize, maybe. he definitely wasn't out to mock anyone, to him these costumes are a sign of respect. ]

Hey, I don't think I left her with that impression. And we have a dance to finish. Besides, Steve didn't take it like that. {Which is what's important to her.]

Yeah but offending Peggy is like if I don't get offended by something but you do in my stead -

[ so actually - much worse. why are the ladies always scarier?? he kisses her cheek. ] But dance first.

Is it? When I asked how she knew him she told me he was her security officer. [But she didn't buy that it stopped there.]

He is, and I'm sure the security officer status is why he asked me to help him make an origami bouquet for her, I help Fenris make one for Jim every weekend -

[ he shouldn't. but come on they are so obvious. he didn't get to do this with james and kara because it was painful and also who did he have to talk to? ]

Steve did tell me he was catching a slug for a "friend" once. Look at them being shy and not nearly as shameless as us.

But, to be fair, I could see Vision doing that for Wrath. [laughing.]

[ they're what winn would have been like if kitty hadn't started kissing him in that supply closet. ]

We're not a fair comparison - no idea how it happened but we might be the most shameless couple here. [ he definitely hasn't seen anyone else showing that much pda. then again, it could be because he's constantly busy with making out with her. ]

[Might have also been a thing if Kitty had taken it as a more serious relationship from the onset and was going more with feelings than attraction. Not that the feelings weren't there, but she was trying to ignore them and they snuck up on her!]

We should probably get a trophy for it. A ribbon at the very least.

[ he pulls her a little closer. ]

We beat a lot of things.

The day we start talking like normal people is the day I start to seriously worry for our sanity.

[ shh so what if he's been worrying about his since he was 11, sometimes he likes to pretend he's not a screwed up human being and just make dumb jokes that have no further meaning. ]

[She knows that means more to him and she touches his cheeking gently—lovingly. She doesn't see him that way. She does worry about him. The lack of sleep. The drinking. The trouble communicating his feelings and the anger her lets build up. But she also believes in his good heart and kind nature and knows he'll never be like his father. They may both be a little broken, but they're also pretty great at fixing things. She looks at them with more optimism than she has much of anything.]

We're probably in no danger of that then. That's one language I don't know.
