One Fish, Two Fish, Blue Fish Mingle
Who: The crew of the SS Blue Fish and friends
Broadcast: Not necessarily?
Action: On the lovely Blue Fish
When: Month of October
[With the tragedy of Lyuku and the entire Eyuzi system behind the Fleet, the crew of the Blue Fish and their friends are now settling into a new routine while they drift along in the relative safety of space.

[ Dorian is still rather new to the ship, so it's still a journey becoming familiar with everything. As the new communications officer, it's a post he's taking rather seriously. He's rather taken with the comm array, and he can be found most days tinkering with it and learning all the ins and outs. How long has he been there this time? It's hard to say since the blanket of stars is the only thing out the window. Who even pays attention to time? Come pull him away from his seat or keep him company. ]
Kitchen
[ He's not particularly fond of the machine that dispenses what is supposedly food, and even less so the drink machine with its synthetic tastes, but the tea will do if he warms it up. Dorian can be found sitting at the table with his nose in a book (thank you ever so much for that, Hermione), occasionally stopping to take notes with his communicator. ]
Wildcard
[ More ideas or ways to torment Dorian? Feel free to come up with another option! ]
Kitchen
Care for some stew, Dorian?
no subject
If it's not going to inconvenience you.

[Once she gathers up everything, she starts rummaging for pots and other needed kitchen tools.]
How are you settling in?
no subject
[ Marking his page, Dorian closes the book and sits back in his seat with his legs crossed. ]
Rather well, I expect. Given the circumstances, I hadn't given it much thought.

[Pots and pans collected, Riona begins rinsing off the veggies before going to peel and cut.]
I swear, things aren't usually that... crazy here. That's the first planet we left that wasn't in tact. Hopefully it'll be quiet for awhile.

[ He watches her for a few moments, tilting his head a fraction. ]
Do you.. need assistance? [ He has never cooked in his entire life. ]

Bridge
Hey, how're you settling in?
Bridge
As settled as one can be upon being thrust into space.
no subject
Yeah, I know it can be pretty unsettling at first, especially if you don't really have space back home. Or at least...space travel. It gets easier, after a while. You just wake up one day and go "oh look, more space, okay."

[Eventually SOMEONE is going to recognise something, he's sure of it.]
And yeah. I'll have been here three years this month. It just becomes...regular.
no subject
[ Someone from somewhere would eventually see something familiar, right?? ]
Fasta vass, three years? That seems excessive.

He stops when he spots the other man at the table, reading.]
Pretty sure that's a surefire way to ruin a perfectly good book if we get hit by something.
[Sorry, he's the security officer. What else is he supposed to think about? Especially after recent events]
Kitchen
He looks up from his book with a smirk. ]
Underestimating my abilities to preserve a book under duress? [ tsk, tsk. ]
no subject
I dunno. If something happens, as Security Officer, my priority is you over the book. Just letting you know that ahead of time.
no subject
[ Dorian, be nice to the man. ]
I feel that I muse disclose that I'm more than capable of ensuring my own safety.
no subject
[And despite being over five hundred years old, he has no interest in being separated from Serah any time soon.
Or making her mad.]
So, take that how you want.
no subject
[ But that doesn't mean he's not going to tease you mercilessly, Snow. ]

So serious. What're you working on?

Trying to become familiar with all aspects of this station. It's all a matter of repetition.

Billy's bad at taking hints though so if it's "shoo" then sorry not sorry but he's still here, dude.]
I hear you. I've been taking notes all day on what goes where and which button means this or that.
