Thor | OTA
[It's one of the more impressive worlds they have visited, both technologically and in local ecosystem. Thor is well acquainted with advanced worlds and doesn't find himself awestruck in the subterranean cities. That isn't to say he's not interested though. He goes for long wanders through the roads and cityscapes, admiring the skylights primarily and checking the stores second.
That's where he comes somewhat undone. Given the dangers of the world up top, Thor's taken to moving in and out with his axe in hand. That big, metal-headed axe. It's enough to have some people giving him a nervous wide berth... and definitely enough to set off the metal detectors the bigger stores have in their doorways.
Thor can be heard arguing with the frazzled security guard over the loud beeping of this store's gate with some impatience.]
Everyone here carries blades - what kind of idiot would ban weapons in a store? Oh, look, fine. You can hold it for me.
[The relieved guard reaches out his hand for the axe, only to promptly crash to the floor under its weight as Thor lets go of it. Acting for all the world like he hasn't noticed, Thor strolls through the gate with a hand raised in a wave.]
Thanks for that!
b. heads up (cw: some gore)
[The wilds of this planet are no joke. Anyone venturing out into them is warned to be prepared, and armed, and ready to run. It's not always easy to do so though, so densely packed are the trees and the plants here.
It's an unfortunate fact that people will just sometimes be set upon by a dinosaur with no warning. That's the situation a Fleeter might find themselves in today as a tremendous Tyrannosaurus-like beast comes smashing through the trees with a roar towards them. It's about to lunge forward and open its hideous jaws to snap them up when a high-pitched ringing noise sounds out above--
And an axe slams straight through its neck, severing the head clean off with a spray of hot blood. The beast topples to the ground, breaking branches around it as the head rolls into a tree nearby. Thor lands with a thud and a shower of dirt nearby, having dropped right out of the sky in the slipstream of the axe.
Walking over to yank the embedded blade out of the ground, he looks over the carnage without much satisfaction and then turns to the person who had been the beast's intended target.]
Hey - none of that hit you, I hope.
[Because that could be seriously messy.]
c. nightlife
[When he's not out in the wilds and it's closer to night, Thor takes to Kenn-Tellnic instead. It's not hard to find bars and restaurants here, and they tend to be spectacularly placed. One particular bar overlooks one of the more ornate parks and this is where Thor ends up many a night, having a drink and musing over the scenery.
The neon lights are a bit much, but points for keeping to an aesthetic.]
d. wildcard
[Got another idea? Hit me up.]

He grins a bit and gives her a thumbs up in turn, before wandering casually over there.]
Enjoying the shopping?
no subject
Enjoying the show more, actually. He definitely deserves that.
no subject
I thought so. I don't know what he thought I was going to do, decapitate the mannequins?
no subject
[A normal person could probably pop their heads off easily enough. Someone with super strength? With a single finger, she'd wager.]
Then again, he also decided that a glove was some kind of security threat, so I doubt logic's a big part of his job.
[She holds up both hands, fingers wiggling- and sure enough, one hand is bare while the other is clad in a fingerless glove.]
no subject
[He wholeheartedly agrees. Peering at Lup's hands, he glances back up at her mischievous face.]
Oh, no. Was it armoured? Plated in something?

I don't know, why aren't you?
[All innocence. As though the answer isn't known to both.]
no subject
You're getting predictable, brother.
no subject
[And Loki's here now, where he's not a habitual frequenter of bars. Not nearly as much as Thor is, anyway. With a huff, Thor shifts over and kicks a chair out for Loki at the table.]
no subject
And what is predictable about me getting you drinks? The last I checked, I wasn't so magnanimous by nature.
no subject
[The dead, empty planet where they farewelled the Asgardians lost in Ragnarok. An age ago, it seems. He snorts, sipping his drink.]
Oh no, I didn't think it was charity.

What's more distracting is the familiar god that happens to wind up nearby. Hard not to pick up on the little stir he'd caused when he'd arrived.]
Perhaps they will have to rethink their practices, with the example you have given them.

Thor turns to Haggar when she speaks up, eyebrows raising. He's seen her around more as he's become a more frequent visitor to First Breath.]
How they haven't change them already is beyond me. People walk around the streets here with their weapons in plain sight.
no subject
[Like old traditions. She shrugs, slightly.]
At least it is only a temporary inconvenience for you.
no subject
[If the struggling of the guard is any indication, no one around here will even be able to pick the axe up. Setting his fists on his hips, he gives Haggar a curious look.]
Are you shopping?
no subject
[She hasn't decided if anything would be "shopped" yet in earnest.]
The selections seem... varied, but there is little that stands out to be claimed.

c. nightlife
[Natasha sits beside him at the bar, slipping into the stool as soon as its previous occupant vacates as smoothly as if she'd been there to start with.]

Of course, so long as I can do the same for your next one.

[And he's undecided yet how much he's having tonight, so it's irrelevant for now. He turns properly in his seat to face Natasha, leaning an elbow on the counter.]
Is it by chance that you found me here? This world has much more to it than the last.

I would hope not. Especially since I can't think of such a purpose. What do you make of the place?
