[She'd just opened a door. Nothing more. A door she thought was leading...somewhere? She can't quite remember. It's a familiar feeling, though. Very familiar, especially given the events of the last few weeks.

I... did not have the opportunity to know him as well as I knew Dr. Fastolfe. It would have been interesting to know him better, and to fully understand his reasons for making me as I understand Dr. Fastolfe's. If I'm permitted to say so, it might be said to be analogous to the urge some humans feel to understand their ancestry.

[She's assuming Luffy's the captain. She's also assuming she'd like him; she tends to like loud people.]

Well, that all depends on where you're heading, doesn't it? I don't have a particular destination in mind. I rarely do.

Vagueness is in itself a comfortable tool he's used himself from time to time, and he can appreciate the way she's wielding it now, despite the frustration it might cause. Besides, metaphor is even more so something that he understands on a fundamental level. There are rules here he has yet to learn, but his curiosity is sparked - and when that occurs there is often little than can divert him.

So perhaps this didn't represent anywhere specific, but something that felt like home.

[ It's like something out of a game, but the images appearing before him - well, the memories he can feel and experience - are undeniably real. It would be stupid to say otherwise.

Even in physical form, he's still a robot. And here, where the mind rules, his consciousness maintains its 'true' identity.
