[If anyone ever had a doubt that Tyrion Lannister likes to keep himself occupied, today would be the day that he put all doubts to rest. His fingers flick against the side of his camera as he is reaching for a book. Which is good, because he's got three open now. He frowns at one paragraph, then pushes off with his chair - with wheels, fascinating things these.

Then he was picking up a screwdriver, turning to a tank that looked a great deal like the displays at the Green Museum, twisting a brace into place, eying it, then rolling back across the floor to check on the panels for the engine. He picked up a clipboard, put down the screwdriver and exchanged it for pencil while he marked off a few things on a list, then pushed himself off to roll back to his desk, where he flipped a page on his second book, muttering quietly to himself.]

[He tapped the page, then pushed off again to his work-table, where a variety of weapons were lying on the surface, and plucked up the bow.] Yes, all right, that means I just need to change the density of the string and curve the bow a little more for the right amount of pressure per inch... good, good.

[He hummed as he put the bow back down, and reached underneath for his toolbox, singing softly to himself as he went through the varying strings he had gathered for said bow.]

[Clearly, Tyrion is something of a workaholic, when he gets himself going.]

[He snorted softly, as he rolled over to the phone, and her.] The secrets I keep are not kept out on any table.

[One eyebrow comes up, before he gives her a thoughtful smirk.] Are you telling me that you have missed me? Tsk, how horrible of me to keep you wanting my company. How shall I make it up to you? [Yes, he quite likes visiting. Visiting her would be an utter pleasure.]

[And now she has his full interest.] Oh, that is utterly brilliant. .. who helped you with those?

Maybe. I haven't had a chance to get tired of you yet. [She doesn't think that would happen.] You'll have to come over for some chess. [She'll pick up some wine next time she's on the moon.]

[She only had part of it before?] Mmm, I'm not sure if he'd want that advertised, but he has a special skill set. [He can control metal.] They're designed after the ones I wear at home. [Another version of Magneto had actually designed and created them for her originally.]

Oh, I don't think that will be a problem you are going to have. [He quirked one corner of his mouth up.] Name a day, and I'll learn your chess and entertain you besides.

[...all right to be fair, she was the sort of person who had his complete attention all the time.] He must have. I am very impressed by the engineering. He has a good hand on originality and function.

You'll have to prove that. Tomorrow. [Smiling at him.]

Slightly less than original. [Though as far as weapons go, yes.] They're based off Logan's mutation. He was the one teaching me to fight, so I got a pair to match. Of course his are part of his skeletal system and mine just strap on.

Who are you building the arrows for? Are you an archer or did one of the Hawkeyes get to you?

Tomorrow it shall be. [He smiled back, warm and generous.]

I see ... so based off a power? Your friends are very interesting fellows, I must say. [His lips twitch upwards.] As for powers - yours I think are the far more interesting.

My friend Nova. She asked me for a bow and arrows - I haven't made them before, so it is something of a challenge for engineering.

It's a plan. [If not a date.]

He also had a healing factor. Someone could punch a hole right through his chest and it would just knit itself back together. Still might not be as interesting, but it's useful.

I don't know Nova, but if she's an archer I'm sure she'll let you know if you're getting it wrong. They can be picky.

I do like plans. [And absolutely, not a date.]

... well I would prefer not to get hit through the chest to begin with. Dangerous man, your friend.

[He chuckled softly.] She already did, actually. That is why I am reworking it.

Everyone has the potential to be dangerous in their own way. [She has certainly proven to herself that she can be. And she's been hurt by people who she never thought were capable of it. She doesn't linger on this thought long though.]

Good to see someone who knows what she likes. Speaking of, you have a nice voice.

True ... I have the power of words on my side. [His lips twitch up.] And some rather imaginative ideas on warfare. [He stated simply, thinking of all the ways he has managed to take out his enemies when he needed to. He would have to find many more ways, if he ever got home ...]

[His thoughts lean away from revenge, and back to the woman on the screen on in front of him.] Oh, why thank you! Shall I serenade you some more?

[She sees you daydreaming.] You should be careful. It's not always good to embrace the dangerous side. [You remember what she can do to a deck of cards. It's not harder for her to do the same with people.]

[She just smiles at his suggestion to serenade.] Maybe you and Winn should start a band together.

[He gives her a wry smile, and a little acknowledging bow.] True enough. My dangerous side isn't for the people here, after all.

[At that, he laughs.] We are already going to work on his Internet together. Shall we start a band too? My, you do like to keep your harem close.

No, just your weapons. [Says the girl who commissioned weapons for herself.]

He's planning to rebuild the internet here too? I see him every day and I can't keep track of everything he's doing. [A little amazed by it really. Where does he find the time or energy? She does his best to distract and wear him out!]

Keep your friends close and your harem closer? Don't I need more for a harem? Wouldn't this just be a threesome neither of you is all that into? [Wow, the things she says on open networks sometimes.]

Well that's only fair. After all what will we do when the inevitable attack happens? [Paranoia is good when you are positive they are out to get you.]

That he is indeed. It was part of his lecture series - by the by I will be giving a lecture as well. [Oh Kitty, you can't stop geniuses. They just keep going and going and going ...]

Well, that seems to work out well. [He laughs at that, and then laughs again.] How do you know that? Perhaps we are getting one another seduced by our sheer brilliance together.

The inevitable attack? [Since when is there an inevitable attack?]

I told him I'd do one too. Not that I have any idea what it will be about. What's yours on?

[Then she just looks amused.] I don't know. I think if he's getting seduced by another smart guy it's probably Cisco. [She may actually be lightly jealous of him.]

Yes, when this show decides we're much too boring just sitting about, talking to one another. Inevitably, there will be some sort of attack.

On Westeros. I am going to give a brief political history and culture lesson on my people. I hope I can keep it condensed to the interesting bits.

[He grins, as he tightens the string.] Cisco, hm? Is he someone else I should be speaking with?

You couldn't just assume orgy? [Which do you think is better for ratings?]

I'll be at your lecture. You know, assuming we live that long. [Amused.]

Maybe. If you want more projects and pop culture references you won't get.

...Well, I was not, but now I think I shall put my vote in for it. Orgies are much more amusing. [This sort of orgy would surely make them famous.]

... Mm. What would make a pleasant change would be understanding them at all. [Dry? Just a little.]

I don't get them all either. I guess no one would without being from the same world at least. [Though Cisco and Winn are from different worlds and seem very in tune with one another.]

Well, I hope I get in on the better orgies. Gracious knows what I would do if I ended up in one with Furiosa. [He mock shuddered.]

[She laughs softly.] He mentioned you used that word with him.

[He smiles as she laughs. Still, one of the greatest riches in all the world, making a woman laugh.] That I did ... we both decided it was better than girlfriend.

I'm trusting, not foolish. [Though sometimes it ends up in the same place. But she knows he's not actually expecting her to believe that.]

He told me you settled on Beloved. But either way, it's not a bad problem to have. [Better than being without the person to give the title too. Sorry, Tyrion.]

I would never call you foolish. But how can you not trust a face like mine? [He smiles at her, before something in his gaze shifts, and he looks back to the bow.]
