[So we've been stuck on the poison moon for a couple months now, so a lot of people probably want to get away from that.
Unfortunately, the only place you really can get away from it besides your own ship is the Iskaulit. So, here's a June Iskaulit mingle!]

hank mccoy; ota
[let's be real, here; if Hank isn't on the Blameless or visiting someone on another ship, he can be found here. It isn't strange to find him set up in some table in the corner, deep in a book with another nearby. Most of it is research of some kind, but every so often a title or subject will catch his attention and he'll indulge a little bit.
He always has a notebook at hand, however, and sometimes he'll stop what he's doing to scribble something down, an idle thought or a piece of information he wants to remember. He could do all of this on his device, of course, but - well, old habits die hard and he hasn't quite embraced the technology just yet.
Really, look at him, he's just asking to be bothered]
b. gym/obstacle course;
[not nearly as often as the library but still often enough to be considered a routine, Hank can be found in either the gym or the obstacle course - late at night, or very early in the morning, depending upon how you look at the hour. He mostly sticks to the obstacle course to keep himself active, but every so often you might find him in the gym as well, making use of the stronger punching bags.
More often than not at those hours, he's blue and furry, taking advantage of when everyone's asleep to work out. But sometimes he'll wander in without, too, at a normal hour]
c. wildcard;
[sometimes spending hours cooped up in a lab can have an effect on even the nerdiest of scientists, so Hank is pretty prone to simply wandering around. He can be found wandering through the gardens, hands shoved in his pockets. On the rarer occasion, he can be found in one of the bars . . . usually drinking something without alcohol but sometimes, sometimes he'll have one or two if he's feeling particularly stressed. Or maybe they have plans to do a thing and this is a place where the thing can happen.
In other words, you can find him wherever. Wildcard this option to your heart's content!]
no subject
But that's why you bother people. Maybe they've found something, or maybe they just need a break to chat about something. Who knows? But Lydia's going to find out, which is why (with a book in hand) she promptly sits herself at Hank's table without even asking )
I'm hoping that you've found something by now.
( Because otherwise all of that effort would be for nothing )
no subject
He glances up at blinks when she sits at his table, though, and he reaches up to fix his glasses as they slide down his nose. The question throws him off a bit, but he still smiles a little wryly and shrugs]
I've found a lot of somethings. Just never a something I really want to find.
[like a way out, or a way to stop a goddess, or you know, anything important like that]
no subject
( Could it be a coincidence if they were looking for the same thing? Probably not. Smart people wanting to get out of here is not an unusual thing )
no subject
[he figures that's vague enough that she'll get it, and he isn't giving the damned audience or Atroma too much] Among other things.

Sascha. [he can't help the low growl that slips out along with the scolding tone] Don't sneak up on people like that.

a!
The journal attracts his attention the most, though. So he approaches Hank with a bright smile, gesturing to his own notebook.]
I was starting to think I was the only one who preferred these.
yessss our time has come
So was I. Some habits you can't break, even in places like this.
it sure has!! ♥
[Personal experience speaking. He's still pretty bitter about it.]
If you're okay with me asking, what kind of research were you working on?
no subject
[you'll have to pry these notebooks out of his cold, dead fingers]
I don't mind you asking. [he makes a gesture to an empty chair, if Stefan wants to join him] Right now, it's mostly brushing up on things. I'm - a few years behind, so there's newer technologies and methods I don't know about.

B!!!
Someone blue. Now that is curious, though it's not Jotun blue, which is all he really cares about. Too small to be Jotun anyway.
Curious, he stands and watches a bit.]
no subject
Until he gets the feeling someone's watching him. He stops, hanging from one of the ropes from his feet and looks over his shoulder, and spotting Loki . . . offers a wave.
This is totally normal there is nothing to see here, no sir]
no subject
He's happy to observe. Talking can wait for a bit. Though in the meantime, he'll stretch.]

gym
She slips away from the Blameless to head over to the gym, and she thinks she knows Hank's schedule well enough to know where he's going to be, and to wonder if she can join in. Her body practically aches for some kind of exercise and she can't just ignore it - so in she goes, stopping for a moment to watch her boyfriend go, marvelling at how handsome he is as himself, no serum to blind her. ]
Fancy seeing you here, captain.
[ Has he checked the roster yet? Probably, especially after the last surprise. ]
no subject
It probably isn't much of a surprise that as comfortable as he is here - a far stretch from what it used to be - he's still incredibly jumpy about it. Which is how he ended up with the late and early routines, to go along with the compromises he was making in his genuine effort to get used to being like this. Or at least, less uncomfortable with it. He had a long way to go.
He startles when he hears Raven, whirling around with a protest on his lips to not call him that until he spots her and . . .
Huffs, crossing his arms and trying not to be as amused as he wants to be]
Fancy seeing you too, first mate.
no subject
There's no refusal or denial of his title and she knows that's a privilege that she gets and not many others do, so she accepts it warmly. Darting over, as gracefully as she can, she tilts her head up and presses a quick kiss against his cheek, pausing to let her eyes drink him in before she softens.
Oh, she's in so much trouble but she's never been so glad. ]
You actually looked this time. [ She nudges his crossed arms, teasing him and, in her own way, asking him to drop them down so she can be in his arms instead. ] Surprise.

library
He comes over and grins at the young mutant, book tapping against his hip idly. ]
You know, I don't actually remember the last time I wrote something out on paper. How is your hand not cramping?
no subject
He taps the pen against his notepad and hums out an amused sound]
I'm used to writing for long periods of time. [the grin widens just a bit] No datapads or anything like that in my time. Just this or typewriters.
no subject
[ That's all right, they're all giant nerds here in one way or another. Kirk just is less so about himself, because that would be weird. He gave a little laugh around a small smile. ]
Typewriters? Really? I think I saw one of those in museum once, maybe.

So when she sits down he glances up and - admittedly lights up a little. He missed spending time with her]
Kara, hey. Ah - [he blanks and has to turn the book over to read the title] Modern science stuff. I'm giving looking up anything on terraformers a break.
