If anyone - for whatever reason - wants some novelty fridge magnets, there is a sponsor crate of them on the Heron. You can take as many as you want, though there isn't that much variety.

I will note at the outset that no, there are no alphabet pieces.

[Along with this rather brief message is attached a photo of the crate's contents. Half the magnets seem to be little cartoon planets. The other half are... well... magnets.]

[Anyone inclined to visit the Heron to take up this exciting offer - or just to visit - will find Erik leaning against the crate in the cargo hold. He has a number of the magnets suspended in the air above one hand, and every few minutes he flicks his fingers, sending one flying into the hull wall.

The crate itself is emblazoned with the message "To the most ATTRACTIVE guy on the Fleet! - Magnecessities". Maybe that's part of why he looks faintly irritated.

[ Of course Raven comes to visit - of course she comes to nab a handful of magnets for herself and Hank. Why wouldn't she? She's doing her best to be stern and serious about it, but as soon as she reads the message she cracks a little, lips twitching before she glances over at Erik. ]

They think they're being coy. [He snaps another magnet into the wall, dislodging a blue one.] Worse, it's a pun.

[This wasn't the first time, and he doubted it would be the last, that something would come flying through the air and hit the wall beside his head. Hux didn't flinch, only turning to glance at the object.

He picked up the magnet off the wall, inspecting it for a moment. He had come down to the cargo hold for his daily run on the treadmill so instead of his usual uniform he wore a gray shirt and loose black pants, work tablet in one hand. He had been meeting his new shipmates one by one, he was curious about the others on-board.]

Decorative magnets, interesting. [He commented as he turned the magnet of the planet over in his fingers before glancing up at Erik. Seeing objects float in mid air was hardly something new but who the man was did pose an interesting question. He didn't seem like a Jedi or any other Force user as far as he could tell.]

A gift, I take it?

[Hux's appearance had been sudden, the magnet already in motion. Erik pauses, then drops the rest of the magnets into his palm. No sense in continuing if people were going to cross in front of him.

Erik gives Hux a considering look, before he nods. He hasn't been back on the Heron since they landed here, and the new people aren't familiar to him.]

[Amused by Erik's little offer to the Fleet, she thought she would come by in person to inspect these magnets, suspecting that this little "sponsorship gift" had left Erik rather peeved. However, when she does arrive and spots Erik at the crate, his little display with the magnets gives her pause. She had guessed that he had abilities. It had become rather obvious to her from their conversations, yet she had not actually seen them on display until now. She watches silently for a moment before giving her own fingers a flick, stopping one of the magnets in air right Erik was about to send it flying at the wall. Wrapped in a crimson red luminescence, the magnet slowly levitates its way into Wanda's hand as she walks over to join him by the crate.]

Planet magnets. They are kind of cute actually.

[The sudden flare of light and interfering jolt to the magnetic fields he was manipulating makes him turn his head towards Wanda, a little sharply. There's a trace of bafflement on his face for a moment as he sees who it is. When they had spoke of powers, all she had mentioned was telepathy. This, however, was clearly a different beast. He watches the magnet's progress with interest, before nodding to her.]

There are more people interested in them than I anticipated. I was planning to simply throw them out.
