Even with the odd behavior from him, he'll be helping search the ship. If you need to get up to the higher areas of hull, he's got the power to do so (if you aren't scared of bungee jumping anyway). If he's not exploring the ship, you might find him surveying all the fruits that seem to be growing- especially the pumpkins. ]
no subject
Once they are at the ship, and he can grab a moment alone with him, Sokka takes the chance. He sidles up as Allen's surveying those fruit, clearing his throat. ]
Okay. So. Honesty time. How're you really holding up? And don't tell me you're fine, because I've lived with you long enough to know what your 'fine' looks like and this isn't it.

[Not wanting to leave a worried Winn back on the ships for who knows how long to hike to the SOS signal, Kitty decided to work smarter, not harder. So, she gave Pietro a call with a plan that would combine their powers for a fast trip.]
Research
[Taking a fast route to the wreckage and having no magical background Kitty isn't experiencing any particular odd effects of the planet. She doesn't plan to spend long exploring, but Winn did send her with a camera to get some info. So she's walking around snapping pictures and occasionally standing in midair to get better shots.
She's also definitely taking a cutting from those pumpkins. She might also take a whole pumpkin or two if she can find a couple that wouldn't be too heavy for Pietro to carry on the ride back considering he's got to carry her too.]

Even though he's used to that happening.
Every few minutes, Obi-Wan stops to examine the plants or any strange machinery before moving on. Though, for Anakin, he does gather any parts that might seem useful. ]

But he seems sleepier than normal - at night, he's seen something that he can't quite explain, and he refuses to sleep when that thing is looming just over the trees. He stifles a yawn as he surveys the vegetables and those giant pumpkins.
He's over by the robot butlers too, half-wondering if he can pick them apart for Kirito and Anakin. Even then, he's yawning too. He doesn't need sleep, sure, but boy does it sounds good right now.]

[Allen approaches him, offering a small friendly smile at that stifled yawn. Yeah. He's been a bit off himself lately, but don't think he hasn't noticed Stefan being sleepy.]

She doesn't notice who else is around her before the brunette just smiles. It's the thought of fall-- of a time before Winter, that makes her smile. For someone who always tries to be positive, it's been a long, long time since she's been this genuinely content. And she's missed it.]

They're generally with a larger group heading that way, but Monty's meandering likely makes them some of the later arrivals. Once there, he takes a rather extraordinary interest in the pumpkins. So much food! It's extraordinary to see. At least for the first few hours that they're there, he spends his time sorting through the produce. He's not a farmer, but if any of this is real, he absolutely wants it. Even if it's not, it might be nice to have a proper project for his own on the ship that isn't just trying to look busy in a medical bay that doesn't have much to do. Maybe there are experiments he can run with the plants.]
I don't believe I've ever seen a pumpkin in the shape of a star! Have you?
[He chuckles as he toes pumpkin in question. How extraordinary.]
no subject
When they finally reach the ship she sticks near him, examining the immediate surroundings of the hull where the fruit and vegetables are and munching on whatever looks tasty.
What? It's for science. If she gets sick they'll know to avoid taking anything.]
No. The closest I've seen are square watermelons in Japan. Very expensive.
[She trots on over, crouching down to poke at the pumpkin.]
Pumpkin seeds are delicious when they've been roasted.

Furiosa | OTA
[She'll be looking for scraps and remnants she can use on the ship (or for her arm), anything that Tyrion or Max might find useful. Because they are so far out from the ship, however, she's keeping her haul to only what she can carry; small motors, wiring, power componants. She'll be looking for a sack or crate she can use for bigger objects.]

OTA + the occasional seraph
People with resonance/spiritual powers will be able to see balls of colored light coming from and disappearing into him, occasionally taking the form of one of his companions. Yeah he's a taxi service right now, too.
Eventually he'll approach one of the information terminals and, using his augment, will try to access the databanks. It's clear he's doing a lot of random button-pushing however, and seemingly arguing with a voice in his head while he fiddles with it. All help is welcome.]

Shinji Ikari | OTA
[Shinji should probably be more suspicious of this array of pumpkins, but his yearning for fresh, untouched food has outweighed all else. In the shadows of the wreckage of the ship, he resorts to using his pale grey sweatshirt as a makeshift bag of sorts. He's collecting several of the smaller, not-so-imposing pumpkins, hoping they're not overly ripe or rotten or worse than that.] I could make a quiche with this one, I think, if I find some eggs... [He mutters to himself about various recipes, enough to prove he's something of a decent cook. Pumpkin pie? Pumpkin bread? Pumpkin pancakes, even? Oh, and as an added bonus, the very small pumpkins could make for colorful Halloween decorations on the Heron. The ship is so bland and dull otherwise.]
2. A MYSTERIOUS VOICE (?).
[At some point while foraging, Shinji stops what he's doing and just... listens. He isn't sure what he's hearing, if he's hearing anything at all. Could be the echo of more distant explorers, or creatures, or simply a trick of the wind as it passes through loose metal grating. Regardless, he wanders away from the pumpkin patch, approaching one of the quieter, darker hallways that leads to nowhere on the desolate ship. The hallway is filled with overgrown ferns, all rustling and attentive, but that's about it...]
Hello? Anybody there?
[Maybe he's finally going crazy. With a quiet sigh, he looks around, then over his shoulder, fully expecting someone to jump out and surprise him.]
Hello?
[A little louder, this time.]
3. THE HERON.
[That was quite the field trip. Later on, Shinji returns to the Heron with his modest haul of naturally grown pumpkins. He spreads them out in the kitchen counter, then stands back and surveys them with his hands on his hips. The hardest part is figuring out what he's going to do with them first.]
Pumpkin bread wouldn't be so bad... maybe...
[He's planning to share it with the crew after he's done making it. Come help yourself.]
4. WILDCARD.
[Hit Shinji with whatever you want, or leave a blank comment for a random, personalized starter. Shinji will be available at the game room, too, at some point. Feel free to ping me at

[Few giant ships are going to beat the Legacy, but as Shirley finds herself drawn to the new planet the ruins become almost a natural destination. Norma would be proud, maybe, ever the treasure hunter. Or maybe she'd swear it was a bad idea, and they should definitely avoid the place. Even odds.
Shirley misses Norma, and all her other friends. She also misses Norma's expertise, for some definition of the word. Shirley can take care of herself most of the time, but right off the bat she knows that she can't handle a days-long solo expedition. But hey - that's what friends are for, right?
So if Shirley's a friend of yours, consider your company requested for a journey - or maybe you've approached her first? Either way, should you choose to go - well, it's time for a forest trek!]
Exploration
[The downed ship is still far smaller than the one she calls home - and yet, something seems familiar. Shirley spends a lot of the time circulating around the ship, examining this or that and looking thoughtful. It's...nostalgic, somehow, and it isn't until she finds the waterfall of flora that she realizes what it is. Few ships are the size of a continent, but there are only so many that have this kind of bonding between manmade ship and natural life too.]
Maybe this isn't so different from home after all.
exploration!
[Stefan hadn't meant to intrude, but he's squinting at the foliage and trying to envision a planet where natural flora overtook manmade metal - and where those same elements worked in harmony, rather than a sign of decay. It's harder to imagine than he thought.]
Was the Legacy a lot like this?

Cole | Open
He's abandoned shoes entirely (Sorry, Adalwolfe, those boots you gave him sure are living in a box) and his hat is also gone, which is far stranger. He haunts the ruins of the ship like a ghost, almost seeming to glow when the light manages to touch him, his pale skin luminescent.
He knows he's being watched. It scares him a little, but it's always there and he's not alone. He can feel it, reaching for him. He wants to be wanted.
So he never leaves and instead lingers.]
no subject
Cole, though, is a bit of a surprise, especially without his hat. He looks so much more like a spirit with the shafts of light making him positively glow that when Wolfe sees him out of the corner of his eye, he whirls around with staff in hand before he's able to process that it's actually his friend.]
For Andraste's sake Cole, sneaking around like that. I almost threw a spell at you.
[Not really, but he did give Wolfe quite a start. The general sense of being watched in this place doesn't help at all for keeping his nerves on edge either.]

STEVE ROGERS ✮ OTA
[ steve spends quite a lot of time inside the halls of the Virsua, taking in the size of the rooms, the wreckage. you might find him near one of the computers, touching one of the broken screens. he really did hope for a happier ending to the mystery of the SOS signal.
at other times, you might find him in the middle of one of the rusted halls, looking around; as if the sight itself reminds him of something. there is a deep, sad sense of nostalgia here, in the ship that went crashing from the skies.
it's worlds away fronm the Valkyrie and yet. ]
( pumpkin patch; )
[ holy pumpkins, though. he'll be walking through the package, smiling a bit. it's a weird place to find a lively scenery, an oxymoron that doesn't go unnoticed. sitting down, he pulls out a knife from his pocket and gets to work.
he doesn't go for the overly big pumpkins; rather, he picks up about a dozen smaller ones. they're quite big when compared to a normal pumpkin, still. emptying the largest ones will be far too much work.
he'll be picking them up as if they're nothing more than a small bag of apples and will be offering help to anyone who might be struggling with cutting or carrying theirs. ]
( starstruck; )
[ the journey to the ship was easier than the journey back, seeing he didn't have the added weight of the pumpkins. It was worth the trouble, however. he'll place all of them in the kitchen and reach for a towel to wipe his hands.
if you happen to come by him, you might see that captain America is rather pleased with himself. ]
What d'you think?
Shipwreck
Not what you wanted to find?

Korra | OTA
While meditating, Korra could be seen with some visual changes - her body glowed with lines of pure energy and light - while she sat completely still, her fists pressed together and legs crossed. Naga paced around her, sniffing the ground and occasionally looking up at the wreckage but remaining at Korra's side.]

...And yep, there she is. Avatar state.
He knows better than to try and rouse her from it, but he knows she's vulnerable like this, too. So, sighing softly, patting Naga on the head as he passes, he moves to sit beside her. The least he can do is keep watch until she's done with her...Avatar stuff. ]

( b. I AM AN ADULT AND I WILL LAY DOWN IN THIS VEGETATION )
( c. WILDCARD )
B
He didn't. He felt just as empty as when he had started.
He never really came to the planet to learn anything new. He wanted to spite Atroma. To be where they didn't want him to go. He would take every chance he could, at disobeying anyone who felt they had any sort of hold on him. Especially recently, with memories of Danarius sitting on the surface of his broken memories, thanks to being brought into that awful world again- this time as an outsider to it all.
He wasn't looking for anything as he wandered the ship. He didn't care. They could learn anything about Atroma and it wouldn't change the fact they had all the cards- that they were stuck here until Atroma decided to let them go. As such, he wasn't looking for the body on the ground, but eyes used to scanning the landscape around him picked it up the shape of an arm, following it to the shape of a body amongst the foliage- and just as quickly recognised who it belonged to.
He was surprised, how quickly the dread sunk into his stomach like a rock. Was she hurt? He loped quickly in her direction, pushing away the greenery, real concern caught in his voice- staying sharp in his eyes. ]

[When they find the source of the SOS, there's never a question what Natasha will do. She investigates. Cautiously, still prepared for this to be some kind of a trap. She's still not convinced there's not some hazard looking just out of sight.
So far, nothing though. No jaws slam shut. No cage falls. No snare tightens.
Just... pumpkins.
Well, not just pumpkins. And of everything here, the festive squash are low on Natasha's priority list. Her energy is directed toward trying to figure out what happened here, looking for clues among the wreckage—and the signal.]

Jim Kirk | OTA
The pumpkins were a curious thing, and he did spend some time kneeling down and inspecting them, because why pumpkins? And why all thriving in this particular place? It was a curious thing, especially since he couldn't recall seeing them anywhere else on the planet so far.
He moves through into the hull slowly, pausing frequently to look at bits of construction, or any words he can find on the inside hull. This is not his first time exploring something like this, and his steps are sure, but cautious as he descends and winds his way into the depths. Eventually he comes across the data banks, and for awhile he remains there, tapping away at controls and trying to get any sort of information he can out of them, though he is somewhat hampered being that he is not a Comm or Science Augment. Where was Spock or Scotty or Uhurah when he needed them?
Barring that, he'll be taking an in-depth look at some of the old robot butlers, trying to pop them open and see what he can find, either information or structure wise. One could learn a lot about a place from the way its machines are programmed, after all. ]
no subject
The pumpkins had intrigued him as something he could actually study and know a thing or two thanks to his skills as an herbalist, but other than taking a couple samples and one of the smaller pumpkins to study back on the ships, he'd found very little.
At least until he'd found Kirk. He was certainly the least surprising person Anders could have stumbled across, this seemed right up the man's alley.]
Having any luck, Jim?
