[ The feed starts with Sara adjusting the camera and pursing her lips, then flashing a waxy smile that doesn't go anywhere near her eyes ]

Hi, so, I'm going to need you to go ahead and let me out of here and return me to my ship. I mean, we could do this the long way, but you really, really won't like that. It will be long. And painful. Possibly over days. The thing I'm going to assume you didn't realize about me before you decided to make this incredibly idiotic move is that I don't take kindly to cages. They're not really my thing, and I have a particular prejudice against the people who want to put me in them.

But hey.

[ She puts her hands up in a conciliatory manner ]

Maybe I'm reading this entire situation the wrong way. Just come and get me, we'll talk, and I won't even break your fingers for it. Promise.

Supposedly reality television if I didn't mention that before. We did a heist about a year ago though. [She knows a lot of these are jokes, but since they come with real answers and she's new, Kitty figures she can throw some of that in too.]

Ah. My world had a little [She actually holds her hand up and holds her pointer finger and thumb apart slightly.] Apocalypse in my world. It took a toll on pop culture. And everything else.

[ she actually seems genuine. she's seen a lot of futures. ]

[Leading Sara into the kitchen.] I hope you weren't a big fan of flavor and pleasant textures in food.

It doesn't make custom food for you? What is even the point?

I don't know. We should probably all just pack our bags and go home. [As if it's that easy.]

So no mission, no good food. Is the alcohol at least good?

And sometimes we find good food on the planets. [She flips open a cabinet to show off things that look like actual ingredients.] We're pretty stocked up for the moment. I always try to get as much as I can especially when it's getting to time when we're probably leaving. And everyone is welcome to pitch in with that. [She can't imagine not sharing with the crew, but she can only fund so much herself even with the new job. She also tries to keep the ship as upgraded as it can be.]
