Haven't ya ever heard of bein' fashionably late? [Though it was mostly mumbled out as Remy pressed a kiss to the corner of Jim's mouth, a second one more centered over his lips and letting it linger for a long moment of warm happiness. He slipped a hand around the back of Jim's neck, fingers playing with the edge of his hair at the nape of his neck before looking to the room.]

This be her, right?

Yes, this is her.

_{[ He smiled and turned to wave his hand over the scene on display, a
glittering manifestation of human determination and ingenuity and
exploratory spirit. ]}

What do you think? She as sexy as me?

[That smile stayed for a moment, before Remy dropped it, his face serious as he turned it to Jim to deliver his next line.] Ya will never be as sexy as she be. [A hint of a smile returning as Remy pressed another kiss to Jim's lips.] Sorry, but that true.

[He released his hold only so he could take up Jim's hand instead.] Ok Captain, show me 'round then. I know ya wanna show it off. 'nd the ship too.

None taken. I have to agree, as it were.

_{[ He laced the fingers of their hands, rolling his eyes heavenward for a moment as if having to turn over that request. ]}

Oh, I suppose. Just don't fall to hard for her.

_{[ He turned Remy and tugged him along, heading along the outer rim, talking in depth about the different stations, purposefully ignoring the most exciting bit of the deck - the chair. ]}

[Remy grinned at the tug, hanging back for a moment to play it up before catching up with Jim's pace. There was... something familiar about this, in the back of his mind, but not enough to have him call out that he was repeating this, too happy to get a guided tour around the room. And honestly, he was doing his best to keep up, to not linger too much and ask a thousand questions over everything there.]

Ya know, I use to think ya gotta be one of the prettiest things I seen, but 'm sorry cheri, think ya been replaced. [A joke. Mostly. But no, still a joke. The ship was wonderful, but it wouldn't be nearly as great if it wasn't for who he was currently seeing it with.]

I would honestly be more disappointed if you didn't think that.

_{[ He was a giant nerd and loved his ship with all his nerdy heart. Anyone who praised her was a friend in his eyes, and he liked that his lover seemed to appreciate her as much as he did. Well, not as much, but he did, and not just because he was trying to be nice to his very nerdy boyfriend. ]

He bit his lip, looking coy as he leaned in and pressed his lips to Remy's ear. ]}

Now do you want to see where I sit?

[Remy paused mid step, raised an eyebrow, and motioned down to his own crotch region.

Isn't he just so funny?]

_{[ The funniest. So, so funny. He raised a brow at the other and pursed
his lips he was so amused, huffing just a little. Don't ruin his good time,
he's showing off here, jackass. ]}

Well with that attitude you'll be sitting alone.

[Remy laughed then grin, reaching out his other hand to pull Jim close again, bringing him in for another kiss before letting go so he could lead the way.] It that attitude that got us together in the first place, non?

Go on, show me, we both know ya wanna 'nd that I wanna see.

_{[ He let the other kiss him, but nipped him just to be contrary before pulling away. His lack of retort as much admitting that Remy was right. His smile returned though and he sauntered over to his captain's chair, trailing his hand along the back of it, as if trying to seduce the thing before coming around to the front and grandly settling himself into the padded seat. ]}

It's Captain when I'm in the chair, you know.

[It was moments like these that really illustrated how similar they were, that need to play up a moment, add some drama to it, even if it didn't need it. Especially if it didn't need it. Jim's little show there caused a huff of a laugh that was more just an exhale of air through Remy's nose, a slight shake of his head at the show, as his warm gaze followed Jim. He was performing after all, so he needed an audience, and Remy wasn't going to neglect him one.

Once he was sure Jim was done with the show, had finished his last piece, Remy made his way over to him. He tried to put on a serious face, he really tried, but it just wouldn't happen, a slight hint of a smile remaining at the corner of his lips. Bracing his hands either side of the chair arms, Remy leaned in towards Jim so their faces were level.] So what does that make me?

_{[ Jim watched him, and when Remy came close he reached up, cupping the
other's face and drawing his fingers along the line of his cheekbones.
Beautiful, sweet man. He knew Remy was playing along, giving in to the
drama he was trying to create, and he loved him for it. For indulging him
like this. ]}

Hmm, well some captains do indulge in personal valets, I've heard...

[Remy narrowed his eyes at Jim, which may be intimidating if it wasn't for that ghost of a smile still. And the fact he really couldn't be mad at Jim, and Jim knew that. All part of the play, as always.] 'll show ya 'indulge' if ya ain't careful, Captain. [Dropping tone almost to a hiss as he leaned further in until he could catch his lips in a kiss.]

_{[ Of course knew that. They had never been seriously mad each other in
the years they had known each other, but Kirk suspected they would know
when it came. It was an all together different sort of feeling, after all.
He hummed, as if taking those words into consideration, at the same time
leaning into the other's kiss. He groaned softly, pressing his tongue past
the other's lips, running along his teeth. ]}

[While more than happy to keep going down that path, and despite how wonderful that kiss was turning, Remy couldn't help but let out a muffled laugh against Jim's mouth, letting the kiss continue several long moments before he made himself pull back to speak.] 'nd this be why we never get 'nything done, ya know. [Well, they got stuff done...

He grinned back at Jim.] I thought ya were showin' me 'round, 'less there a path leadin' to ya quarters here, then that would be multitaskin'.

You know these places are limited. Unfortunately, this is about all of it.

_{[ He pouted at Remy, reaching up to trace the curve of the other's lip
with the tip of his finger. ]}

[Don't pout like that Jim, it's too cute and instantly makes Remy want to try and counter it in some way. Opening his mouth to the brush, he caught Jim's finger first between his teeth, holding it a moment before soothing the same spot with a kiss afterwards.] Save it for later then when we got more room then.

Come on, [Remy reached out a hand to grab for Jim's, tugging on it a bit to try and pull him up to his feet again.] Ain't like we can't come back to this chair afterwards 'nd have some fun with it.

_{[ He took Remy's hand, but didn't rise, threading their fingers
instead. ]}

Ain't the whole point of this suppose to go pokin' 'round where don't want people to go? I know I already go pokin' 'round where ya wanna go... [Grinning at his bad joke, but also at Jim's stubbornness, relaxing his arm again so he didn't try and pull Jim to his feet. But also keeping their fingers linked.] Or ya wantin' to make new memories here 'nstead?
