[It's almost like walking around in the stale dust of ruins that haven't seen the light of day in a couple hundred years. Sorey waves a hand in front of his face as if to dispel particles purely out of habit, but that obviously does nothing to bring things into focus.

The man sitting by the window glances over but then turns away. Whether because he's absorbed in his memories or because he doesn't want anybody in here, Sorey doesn't know. This isn't his first rodeo but he knows how invasive this can be, and though he knows he'll have to touch one of those things over there to get out he'd still like to try and ask permission first.]

[ When he's spoken to, he turns again, slightly bemused rather than obliquely preoccupied. His awareness hasn't really kicked in to what's happening, and calling attention to it is just enough to make him realize anything could be unusual about just sitting here in this room. ]
