[Keith smiled a little at that.]

We had a strong bond. That's hard to forget.

[Just look at Zarkon. Then again, Keith wasn't exactly some maniacal dictator bent on power, so he wasn't going to be stalking Lance and Red any time soon.]

You understand.

[Keith knew Lance was close to Blue, too, and how much he hadn't wanted to give her up during the switch over. It hadn't been easy for any of them, for a multitude of reasons. The bonds were special, and it also meant accepting Shiro's loss at the time. Not a great place mentally for the group, really.]

Yeah. I definitely do.

[He's quiet for a little, thumb brushing over the back of Keith's hand.]

It'd be fun, though. Just blast off in Red one day, go fly through some asteroid fields.

Asteroid fields? [Keith smirked.] I'm guessing Hunk never told you I was a terrible passenger.

Let me guess, backseat driver? Try and pull that with me and I'll shove a sock in your mouth.

[He grins.]

[Keith made a face.]

That's just gross.

Exactly, so it's good deterrent!

You know... you'd actually have to have a sock with you to do it, though.

I'm wearing one.

That's even worse.

Not to mention the distraction it would be for you to take the time to do it.

It'd be totally worth it.

Until you crash Red into an asteroid because you aren't paying attention.

[Keith poked him.]

She'd take over. She's a good girl like that.

He pokes back.]

[Keith just smirked. He knew better. Between columns of rock and large battleships, sometimes Lance hadn't been too good at dodging in the past.]

I still have a soft spot for her, you know. I'd rather you paid attention to where you were flying.

[Keith poked him back.]

That's right.

[He smirked a little, wondering if Lance was going to consider looking at more of the colored stars or head for that door. At this point, if he wanted, he could either use the door to see more memories or use it to wake up.]
