Before you post your toplevel comment, please:

[Oh, hey... the magical equivalent. That worked. Keith was momentarily relieved until he saw that tail coming at them.]

Look out!

[He grabbed her, and dove, pulling them down before it could hit them.]

[ She yelps in surprise when he grabs her and dives, but the dragon's tail soars right over their heads. She quickly flashes him a relieved smile. ]

That was close... Thank you!

[ She's got her hand on what looks like an ice-covered bomb, and she's ready to throw it at the dragon! Unfortunately, it's also stomping its way back toward them, front claws hooked and ready to strike. So she shoves the bomb into Keith's hands. ]

Hit it a few times, then throw this at it! I'll throw one too!

[ Aaaand now it's time to dive out of the way again! She rolls to one side, and starts hastily digging in her bag. ]

[tempredmental]

What- [Oh... that sure is a bomb thing she handed to him roughly. He nodded. He didn't have pockets... just two little pouches on his belt that wouldn't hold a bomb. He tucked it in like a football, and then charged, activating his bayard to take a few slashes at the dragon.

Any time, Escha!]

[ Looks like any time is right now!! She chucks the bomb at the dragon, and the resulting explosion creates a chilling vortex and a barrage of icy shards, thick and sharp as blades.

Between Keith's attacks and the sudden ice storm, the dragon is not happy, that's for sure. It roars in pain, turns like it's going to snap its jaws right at Escha... but it stumbles, its movement seemingly impaired by its injuries and the cold - and, you know, maybe a little extra special ingredient used in these bombs...~

One more ice bomb ought to do the trick! ]

[Keith made sure to retreat as he saw her throw her bomb, and then, without waiting too much longer after she did that, he threw his own, noting the effects hers already had. Good. Then that meant his should work, too, right?]
