[ walking into strange rooms is starting to feel like a habit. He takes a second to orient himself, checking the surroundings-- unfamiliar, unsurprisingly. There aren't that many people whose memories wouldn't be. ]

Well, [ he says, with a bit of a sigh. ] Where's this?

[ Well, that's a weird question, because how would someone get this far and not know where they are? Even Glenn's relatively unaware dream self is puzzled by the question, considering. ]

Uh... Alexandria?

[ And more as honest if puzzled inquiry than anything as accusatory as the words could potentially be - ]

Where'd you come from?

Good question.

[ The shortest answer: the Marsiva. The longest: Corellia. Already, he's got the feeling neither is gonna be much good. ]

Nowhere you ever heard of, probably.

Yeah? Kind of seems like the world's getting bigger every day, somehow.

[ Something like a very light wry amusement is in that, as he glances back to the window, beyond the wall that itself is beyond the soft focus. Just for a moment ]

Were you with a community? Or on the road?

[ what does that even mean, you weirdo.

Han's gonna guess that means this is a place where people don't leave their planet. Which he's inferred usually means Earth, wherever the hell that is. ]

I travel a lot, [ he affirms. Hey, it's not a lie. ] Kinda like it better that way.

[ It's long story, Han. Don't ask.

But he nods - the road wasn't good for his people, but surely there are people making it work. ]

Have you found much out there?

I keep busy.

[ he can make up vague nonsense allllll day, Glenn. Evasion is a major life skill of his. ]

Have you always lived here?

[ It's kind of annoying, honestly. Even in this. ]

No. I was in Atlanta, when everything started to fall apart. We worked our way up here after.

Oh, [ he says, like that means something. He's probably not super convincing about it, though. There's only so much energy he's got to try and fit in with planetlocked sleepwalkers. ]

I didn't mean to barge in, [ he says, changing tack because geography is not getting them anywhere. ] You seem kinda... [ preoccupied? creepily melancholy? dealer's choice. Han kind of regrets his choice to change the subject immediately. ]

[ He's not really melancholy, you know... in context. There's a context. This is how people talk about time here. Where were you when the world fell apart, like... where were you when Palpatine seized power from the senate? Yeah, you'd get it. ]

Hey, nah, it's okay. So what brings you through here, anyway?

[ Sure, kind of. Han couldn't tell you where he was when Palpatine seized power, though, except that he was probably picking someone's pocket. ]

Oh, you know. Stock up, catch up on gossip. Odd jobs.
