...And also these.
( for N-Z characters )
Before you post your topcomment, please:
1. Check the first letter of your character's name as its written in our tags. A-M names go to the other post, and N-Z names comment here.
2. Make a note in your topcomment if anything especially triggering or graphic might show up in the Calibration. If you're not sure if something's worth noting or not, we suggest listing it anyway, just to err on the side of caution.
3. Put your character's name (it can be shortened or different from the tag, this time) in the subject of your comment. This will help visitors find you easily, and help us update the list below.
4. Post your comment! It's fine if everyone's Calibrations end up looking and reading very different from one another. As long as you're having fun and following our guidelines, you're good to go. :)
5. If you have any questions or concerns during Calibrations, you are welcome to send them towards the mod team at any time, as always.

So, if she can, she'll be turning that radio off. ]

which 'station' does she choose: the music, the gunfire, or the radio show? ]

And once that's settled, time to properly explore.
The file, at least, seems like it might be the most simple way to learn more about where she is, if nothing else. It's as good a place to start as any. ]

and the dim lighting inside the room suddenly glows white-hot. you are all at once transported to a memory, experienced through peggy's eyes and peggy's stiff posture. with a simple adjustment of her dress uniform, she remembers sitting with the rest of the spectators as dr. erskine began to describe history in the making.
the memory comes to a dramatic head when, suddenly, steve's agony can be heard through the metal. wanda experiences peggy leaping up and demanding: ] Shut it down, shut it down!
[ no, no -- i can do this! captain america perseveres.
and the lights flicker to darkness, giving you a moment or two to adjust to the old dim glow of peggy's new york apartment once the memory is finished. ]

Maybe the rest of the folder will provide more information. She doesn't mind a little reading, after all. ]

...A little light reading, is it? [ from the far side of the room (the side lined with lockers) a woman in military dress seems to appear from the very air. precise and proper, she doesn't exactly rush to reclaim the file. but she does watch it carefully. ]

I assume this is yours?
[ --she asks, turning around, holding the folder. It's certainly free for the taking (back); her posture is slightly stiff, but not threatening. ]

[ her approach is slow. non-threatening. ]

[ It comes out in a thoughtful tone, not unkind. Since Peggy isn't taking it back, One half-turns back to set it down once again, not entirely willing to look away, just in case the newest addition to the room is a dangerous one. ]
If you'd prefer, I'll leave it alone.
{ ooc; sorry this took so long!!! }

It must truly be important, then.
[ The rest of the vanity looks normal enough-- makeup and the like. Not that she's ever worn it, but Five certainly had. It may be a bit rude to begin going through the drawers while their owner is here, so she turns back from the vanity.
For a moment, she pauses in the middle of that architectural and decorational fade, the invisible line between rooms, and then she's on the other side, in front of the lockers. ]
As for the legality of everything else here...?
no subject
thoughtfully, she adds: ] Well, almost all.

A bit more can be forgiven at those times, can't it...
[ In front of the locker housing the typewriter-like object-- back to Peggy, as if shielding what she's doing, she checks it over. Presses one of the keys. ]
