Before you post your topcomment, please:
1. Check the first letter of your character's name as its written in our tags. A-M names go to the other post, and N-Z names comment here.
2. Make a note in your topcomment if anything especially triggering or graphic might show up in the Calibration. If you're not sure if something's worth noting or not, we suggest listing it anyway, just to err on the side of caution.
3. Put your character's name (it can be shortened or different from the tag, this time) in the subject of your comment. This will help visitors find you easily, and help us update the list below.
4. Post your comment! It's fine if everyone's Calibrations end up looking and reading very different from one another. As long as you're having fun and following our guidelines, you're good to go. :)
5. If you have any questions or concerns during Calibrations, you are welcome to send them towards the mod team at any time, as always.

The orange lily represents revenge, and the first feeling associated with this memory -- before the image becomes clear, even -- is an overwhelming burst of anger, barely controlled, ready to burst at the seams.
Slowly, the scene in front of her comes more into focus. It's a town square of sorts, with a large fountain in the very center. There's a person in the fountain, bathing in the water -- though it's clearly cold outside, not yet spring, it's warm enough for the water in the fountain to be running.
The person in the fountain has long, wavy white hair, and it's hard to tell whether it's a man or a woman -- even as he turns to face her, the face is misleadingly and almost blindingly beautiful. But there are a few signs on his naked body that decidedly pinpoint him as male, after a moment.
He doesn't seem to recognize Ino, but she recognizes him, her mind going a mile a minute as she recalls a hundred terms for his kind, but one stands out above all:
Murderer.
You made him suffer.
It takes her a moment to keep her voice under control, before she speaks: ]
You're ... Griffith.
[ He laughs, looking convincingly sheepish and chattering about how he didn't know there were ladies present, but Ino is having none of it.
Murderer. Murderer. MURDERER.
You sacrificed every single one of them and didn't even care.
It takes an amazing amount of willpower not to pull a knife from the pouch on her leg and stab him. She could do it, she could do it in a single flick of her wrist. But strangely, the thing that reigns her in isn't something like "you shouldn't kill people", but rather ...
"He deserves to be the one to kill Griffith."
She takes a step back, relenting, and the memory ends, the brick patterned ground giving way to the soft wooden floor of the flower shop. ]

Sorry.

She looks a little sheepish now, though, mostly because that memory requires some context, and it's ... not exactly something most people would want to hear about. ]
I did say you could look at them. Uh, some things might be confusing or a bit overwhelming, though ...
no subject
I don't know. It feels kind of... invasive.

[ She shrugs a little ]
But it's fine by me.
[ She just might not like what she finds ]
no subject
We just don't know each other that well.
no subject
Does it bother you to see memories like that?
no subject
no subject
Not that I would do that to you, of course. I'm just used to this type of thing.
no subject
If you don't care, though— I mean, it's not that I don't want to know you better.
no subject
So -- if people want to look, they can. I won't give them the satisfaction of me being anxious or afraid for people to see who I am.
no subject
Maybe.
no subject
[ She shrugs ]
Like I said, it doesn't bother me. I trust you.

no subject
Maybe not as well as some others, but -- yeah.

In this case, the memory takes her away to an open path, clearly manmade with concrete and steel. There's a massively tall electrified fence off to the side, but it isn't humming like it ought to be if it were properly on. In fact, it appears to be off.
Which, according to this memory, is very not good. Combined with the loud footsteps that make the ground shake coming from the distance, it's very clear that whatever's approaching? It's not good.
She won't have to wait long to see what's causing the sound, as the creature finally approaches, towering over the group of people in the path. Everyone seems to be standing as still as possible, keeping their breaths as short and quiet as possible, as the creature makes its way over, clearly looking very hungry.
And then, thankfully, the tension is gone, and the memory recedes once more to the much less dangerous and terrifying flower shop. ]
