Before you post your topcomment, please:
1. Check the first letter of your character's name as its written in our tags. A-M names go to the other post, and N-Z names comment here.
2. Make a note in your topcomment if anything especially triggering or graphic might show up in the Calibration. If you're not sure if something's worth noting or not, we suggest listing it anyway, just to err on the side of caution.
3. Put your character's name (it can be shortened or different from the tag, this time) in the subject of your comment. This will help visitors find you easily, and help us update the list below.
4. Post your comment! It's fine if everyone's Calibrations end up looking and reading very different from one another. As long as you're having fun and following our guidelines, you're good to go. :)
5. If you have any questions or concerns during Calibrations, you are welcome to send them towards the mod team at any time, as always.

[ She's looking over the selection. ]
Except you're missing roses. The one flower I could actually identify, and you don't have it.

What would you recommend for something like that?

It's much better to do something along the lines of, "I think you're beautiful", or "I think you're sweet." Much less creepy, don't you think? Something like the orange blossom would be fine ... [ She gestures over to where those sit. ] Or, if you really want to be theatric about it, you could probably go for the tulip. That one's a "declaration of love".

[ She casually examines the orange blossom as she says this- ] And if the tulip is a declaration of love, what exactly does this one mean? [ Looking it over, touching the petals- ]

Sweetness and generosity is what the orange blossom represents, and so the memory follows suit. The flower shop disappears to make way for a large meadow with many children picking wildflowers.
Ino's sitting with another girl her age, and they're both much younger now. The other girl has pink hair, pulled up with a ribbon, and she's looking at a somewhat humble looking plant in her hand with a puzzled look on her face, as though she doesn't quite know what to do with it.
Ino takes the reins, explaining to her what to do next. ]
All right, you see those cosmos flowers over there? [ She points to a different flower growing close by. ] If you wanted to make a flower arrangement, those would be the centerpiece, and those thoroughworts would accompany it. The cosmos represents harmony, and it's kinda perfect, 'cause all the other flowers can harmonize with it.
[ The other girl seems impressed by her knowledge of flowers and what they mean and all of that. Ino just grins, picking a cosmos blossom and holding it up next to her face. ]
So, what do you think, Sakura? Am I as pretty as the cosmos flower now?
[ The other girl seems to be debating how to answer, her cheeks a little flushed with embarrassment. ]
C'mon, am I cute or what?
[ After another moment of deliberation, she finally nods.
"Yeah!" ]
Sheesh ... took you long enough to say it!
[ Ino doesn't actually seem all that bothered, though. Sakura just looks down at the planet in her own hand, thinking ...
"Ino, if you're the cosmos flower ... then am I just a thoroughwort?"
Ino frowns, looking at her for a moment. ]
Hmm ... Now why would you say that?
[ Sakura seems flustered, unsure of how to answer that question, but Ino continues on. ]
Let's see .... you know what? I don't think you're a flower at all.
[ The other girl seems a little aghast at this for a moment, until Ino finishes her train of thought. ]
I think you're still a bud, waiting to bloom.
[ Sakura pauses, looking down ... and then, dejectedly:
"Yeah, you're right ..."
She seems thoughtful for a moment, before she speaks up again:
"Ino, why did you give me this ribbon?" ]
Hm ... well, let's just say, I thought it would be a terrible waste for you to wilt away before you even had the chance to grow!
I mean -- how sad is it if a flower never gets the chance to bloom?
[ Sakura watches her, surprised. ]
I mean, for all we know ... that little bud? It might become a flower even more beautiful than the cosmos.
[ And before the other girl has a chance to answer, the meadow disappears, and Max is back in the flower shop. ]

Still, it wasn't a bad memory. Actually kind of sweet. ]
I, uh, sorry about that.

It's fine. That's what this room is here for.
