Of course not! Flowers are a great gift for pretty much anybody and just about any sentiment.

There are certain flowers which symbolize romantic love, but as long as you aren't giving those to the wrong person, you can't go wrong.

[His fingertips brush delicately over the top of the rosemary blossoms, just barely touching as he looks up to Ino with his question.]

[ Before she can answer, the scenery around him seems to fall away, leaving him in the darkness for a moment before it rearranges around him. It's the inside of a house -- small, cozy but not cramped, traditional Japanese in style. It's late in the day, the sun starting to set, and while there's the faint sounds of a small city outside the window (children playing, people talking) ... it's silent inside the room.

In the dark, Ino sits on the floor in front of a small picture of a man, burning incense in a small container next to the photo. She has her head bowed, and her eyes closed, concentrating on something.

There's flashes of what feels like a burning anger here and there, but then she takes in a deep breath and calms again. This repeats for a few long moments, before the memory seems to dissolve, leaving Souji back in the flower shop once more. ]

[Well. That was certainly unexpected. Souji blinks quickly once he's back in the shop, turns to Ino with a quizzical expression.]

What was that?

That's what happens when you touch them.

[ She doesn't seem too bothered by it, though her smile has faded some ]
