...And also these.
( for N-Z characters )
Before you post your topcomment, please:
1. Check the first letter of your character's name as its written in our tags. A-M names go to the other post, and N-Z names comment here.
2. Make a note in your topcomment if anything especially triggering or graphic might show up in the Calibration. If you're not sure if something's worth noting or not, we suggest listing it anyway, just to err on the side of caution.
3. Put your character's name (it can be shortened or different from the tag, this time) in the subject of your comment. This will help visitors find you easily, and help us update the list below.
4. Post your comment! It's fine if everyone's Calibrations end up looking and reading very different from one another. As long as you're having fun and following our guidelines, you're good to go. :)
5. If you have any questions or concerns during Calibrations, you are welcome to send them towards the mod team at any time, as always.

You tilt you head to the side, cracking you neck to loosen it. Your shoulders are feeling a little tight now that you've had a chance to breathe for five minutes. It's been wave after wave of orcs and knolls since you entered the mountainside cavern.
Yoshimo kneels in front of the door before your group, meeting casually to himself in his native Kozakuran. So you have no clue what he's saying. At your side, Anomen fusses with his gauntlet, eager to rush into another battle. Your other companions are behind you, waiting to charge in, only after the blustery would-be knight.
There's an audible click, and Yoshimo pops up to his feet triumphantly. He grips the handle, casting you a twinkling grin that you feel yourself returning naturally.
"After you, my friends." The thief says, as he sweeps the door open. Anomen shouts a battle charge, and ask of you pour through the door.
Only to find two orcs cowering with their hands up. "Wait! Wait! No kill us please!"
It's so out of the ordinary, all of you halt, trading looks of bewilderment. Remembering that you're the one in charge, you address the orcs, trying your best to be firm and fearsome, even though you've quite been taken out of the moment.
"And why should I? You're part of this Firkraag's little army. All these people you've killed."
"But we no want to kill! Is just following orders! Just doing job!"
Again, it shines a bit of a strange new light on the situation. Adventuring is your job, and you kill lots of people in the name of your quests. You glance at your friends, who offer you only wide eyes and the odd shake of the head. You're on your own here.
"All right, you can go. But no more killing."
The orcs are instantly relieved and grateful. They bow ridiculously low, repeatedly, as they hurry to get by your group and out the door. Lest you change your mind, you suspect.
"Oh thank you! Thank you! No more killing. Not for job. Killing for job no good. Maybe hobby. That okay I think."
By the time you realize what that last sentence was, they're out the door and gone down a hall. Your friends all give you wide eyed, shocked looks. You just shake your head.
"You know what, they'll never get passed the room that sets itself on fire. I don't even care anymore. Let's go."
Your life is weird.
[As quickly as it came, the vision fades and he's back in the library.]

That.. almost seemed like exploring ruins, except with... more of a mess. He's not terribly surprised by how it worked out.
... He's going to put that book back, and try for another one. Absent curiosity, how much of this person's life is like Brave Vesperia's? ]

You step into the dark tavern, and don't even bother to take the time to let your eyes adjust. You're still riding the desperate rush, even though you know getting to Imoen is going to take time. You can't help it though, her abduction is too fresh.
You move around a cluster of men, or rather you try. One of them steps directly in front of you, and shoves you in the shoulder when you try to pass him.
"Oy! Where do you think you're going, missy?"
"Just passing through," you say with forced politeness. "Excuse me, sir"
"Oh it's sir, is it? Look at 'er, boys! Little miss and her high and mighty manners. We don't need your type 'round here."
You pinch the bridge of your nose. You just know a headache is coming on. "I don't want any trouble. Just let me through."
"Let 'er through, she says! Thinks she's so tough, this one! Why don't you show us how tough you are, missy!"
"I'm not going to fight you." You know exactly what's coming, but at this point it's useless. This man is determined. His friends goad him on, and he shoves you again.
"Look, little baby half breed is scared!"
Being half elven has never been a mark of shame for you, but this man is practically spitting on your boots. And you've had an extremely bad day.
"I'm not afraid of brainless bullies like you." You can feel your companions tensing behind you, but none of them try to stop what's about to happen.
"A bully she says! Thems fighting words, they are! Step into the pit and back then up, if you're so brave.]
"It's your funeral." The pit master observes, along with your companions and the man's cronies, as the two of you set aside your own gear in exchange for the common swords you're provided. Equally armed, the match begins.
And ends just as quickly. The braggart didn't stand a chance. His attack is wide and sloppy, and you sink your sword into his gut in one thrust. He looks surprised, while you scowl. His death was utterly unnecessary. But at least now the ruffians in the Copper Cornet will know not to mess with you and yours.]

... He feels a little guilty now, so Duke shuts the book, puts it back where he found it, and goes looking for anyone else in this place.

What are you adding?

[She finishes a strike off the quill and then looks up at him with a polite smile]
Is there something I can help you find?
sorry for the forever late, brain went and died
So he speaks a little slowly, as if unsure he should be asking. ]
If.. these books are yours in the first place... what clarification do they need?
No worries!
[She glances back behind them, at the dark part of the library way in the back. But it's quick and her eyes are back on him after only a second.]
Sometimes we forget things entirely.

... And sometimes you wish them to become forgotten.

Exactly. So sometimes the stories change, and need clarifying.

[ He could see the merits to both, really. ]

[She turns the page she's on, and the next one two are completely blank. She keeps turning, two, three more pages, and then the text begins again.]

They are your books, so what you feel is best likely is. It would be an interesting comparison, if it was all notes amending rather than re-writing.
