( for N-Z characters )
Before you post your topcomment, please:
1. Check the first letter of your character's name as its written in our tags. A-M names go to the other post, and N-Z names comment here.
2. Make a note in your topcomment if anything especially triggering or graphic might show up in the Calibration. If you're not sure if something's worth noting or not, we suggest listing it anyway, just to err on the side of caution.
3. Put your character's name (it can be shortened or different from the tag, this time) in the subject of your comment. This will help visitors find you easily, and help us update the list below.
4. Post your comment! It's fine if everyone's Calibrations end up looking and reading very different from one another. As long as you're having fun and following our guidelines, you're good to go. :)
5. If you have any questions or concerns during Calibrations, you are welcome to send them towards the mod team at any time, as always.

she stays near the dresser, but half-turns her body so she can watch the specter on the bed. ] Are you here to play a game?
[ asking, of course, about the cards. ]

I rather prefer the tangible and concrete, I'm afraid. [ and yet she's in no rush to leave, nor to abandon this quick-and-dirty game of wits. ] Besides, we're rather lacking enough bodies for a proper game.
[ poker. bridge. whist. anything, really, that's worth playing. ]

[Remy spread his arms out in front of him.] Make yaself at home, or as much as the space provided 'llows for. Not m' first choice in 'ntertainin' guests, but could be worse places. Would rather get the chance to offer a lady a drink before bringin' her back to my bedroom, but beggars can't be choosers now, hein?

No, they most certainly cannot. [ she eyes the work-desk, with its accompanying chair, and gestures: ] May I?

but her glance across the desk's contents make her think only one thing. blueprints? artefacts? jewelry? ] A heist, monsieur?
[ by now, she's half-pinned the accent. french, but not exactly from france. french-canadian, perhaps. her mind is nowhere near the southern us. ]

[Remy continued to eye Peggy, but more as curiosity of how long the desk would hold her. He felt a little bad he hadn't warned her, but it was short lived. It wasn't harmful, it wasn't dangerous, it wouldn't cause her pain once she stood up from it, and even then it was only the ache of sitting for so long than anything long lasting. It wasn't his favorite part of his room, but it was a certainly a place of loyalty for him, of things that had to get done and to tough through the negatives that came with it.]

And what's the ballpark payout for a job like this?

Might I ask ya then, since we sharin' career paths, what might ya do then, cherie?

[ so, tradecraft. normally, she wouldn't be so quick to admit it (or even allude to it) except that this workspace makes her feel so...focused. and the confessed felt like work that needed doing. ]
