( for N-Z characters )
Before you post your topcomment, please:
1. Check the first letter of your character's name as its written in our tags. A-M names go to the other post, and N-Z names comment here.
2. Make a note in your topcomment if anything especially triggering or graphic might show up in the Calibration. If you're not sure if something's worth noting or not, we suggest listing it anyway, just to err on the side of caution.
3. Put your character's name (it can be shortened or different from the tag, this time) in the subject of your comment. This will help visitors find you easily, and help us update the list below.
4. Post your comment! It's fine if everyone's Calibrations end up looking and reading very different from one another. As long as you're having fun and following our guidelines, you're good to go. :)
5. If you have any questions or concerns during Calibrations, you are welcome to send them towards the mod team at any time, as always.

Flattery will get you nowhere.
[Her voice is amused, indulgent even. Maybe it implies slightly that her words aren't exactly the truth. Every performer likes their work to be appreciated, after all.]
Taking risks, however, can get you lots of places. In trouble might be one of those places, if you aren't careful. You go around making bets with every stranger you meet?
no subject
You'd be surprised. Trouble is basically Risk's equally-attractive twin.
Besides-- [he gestures at the shelf full of things in front of them.] In places like this, I've noticed that truths are either unfairly easy to come across, or hidden behind a puzzle or two anyway.

[She certainly seems thoughtful enough, dropping down into a crouch to swing herself down to the next shelf, putting her more or less at eye level with him. From this angle, the smirk on her face is definitely visible, playing as it is at the edges of her mouth.]
I'm not an easy kind of girl. Up for a game of 'two truths and a lie'?
no subject
[which he says a little too quickly, like his answer was prepared. or like that was a thing that actually totally happened to him once. either way, he nods in approval now that they're seeing (mostly) eye to eye.]
That's where you guess the lie, right? It's been a while... But I think I can manage.
[he winks--maybe just because it's the kind of cheesy thing that should accompany a challenge like this. he's putting a lot of faith in this person he's never met, hoping she really will play fairly... but hey, she's doing the same thing with him, he's sure.]
no subject
[Maybe. The smile she has widens, acknowledging that wink, and that might be a pretty good indicator that she's starting things off with a lie. At least this one is obvious, isn't it? What's the fun of being gentle and playing nice? But she will be fair, in her own way. She always is.]
Mm, let's see here. Alright. I am a trained, professional ballerina. I was born on Mars. I once set a pot of water on fire.
[That's an easy one, right?]
no subject
which is why he's got a little frown on his face, all of a sudden, and crosses his arms. the first is most likely to be true. the third is improbable, but possible. but where the fuck is Mars? it could be a world or a military base or a floating island in the sky.
rather than just ask for clarification, he assumes that the two most absurd-sounding ones are the truths, there to make the lie look more probable, so.] Gonna go with Mars, as the lie.
