Also, thanks to Kate, we now have a SWEARS AND ATTITUDES JAR displayed prominently in the kitchen. Whenever someone's being naughty instead of nice, they're compelled to deposit a few credits (or at least an iou) into the awaiting jar.

a. CARGO HOLD

[There isn't really any place open and private on the Blameless, so Luke opts for the cargo hold to meditate. Not that you'd know it, considering he's doing a headstand in the corner. Then again, if you watch closely, you might notice things beginning to... float. A few scattered credit chits, some crates, your keys...]

b. KITCHEN

[Man cannot live on protein blocks alone. Luke has been spending what little money he has buying fresh food for the Blameless kitchen. Of course, Luke doesn't really know anything about food that isn't vaporator mushrooms or Alliance-issued rations; he's mostly been buying whatever looked good and hoping it's edible.]

[This means his purchases have been almost entirely vegetarian. He's stocking the pantries and pulls a rhubarb out of the bag, staring at it for a moment.] ...Huh. What do you think this is?

[How did he know you were there? He never turned around.]

c. SHUTTLE

[The shuttle in the Blameless' cargo bay isn't much, but he'll take what he can get; he's spent too long grounded. He's revving the repulsorlifts when he pops his head out-] Hey! Want to go on a ride?

[He doubts this thing can go very fast, so he might as well have someone along for the joyride to keep from getting bored.]

d. WILDKARRDE

[Luke's schedule is pretty simple on the Blameless: wake up, complain about the food, do whatever routine maintenance (or completely unnecessary fiddling he can think of) that needs doing, go out for work, come back, meditate, repeat. He doesn't sleep in the captain's bedding, but on whatever bunk's free. It should be noted that he sleeps like the dead, even on the uncomfortable standard-issue bedding.]

[ She's not startled at being noticed. Padme has spent more than enough time around Jedi to expect anything else. ]

I thought you were supposed to eat the green parts... [Luke holds the leaves up to his nose for an experimental sniff.] I guess you'd know best. Better than me, anyway.

Usually, yes, but rhubarb leaves will make you sick if you eat them.

[ She takes his acknowledgement as an invitation. Unlike last time, she's in more formal clothes with her hair in a complex braid. She's blissfully unaware that she might be a bit intimidating. ]

It's been a culinary adventure, hasn't it? I've found fruits I've never even heard of before.

[ Both idle conversation and a way to ease any shyness or discomfort on Luke's part. Tatooine isn't exactly the capital of cuisine. ]

[Azula is standing there in the kitchen doorway, having seen Luke enter the kitchen moments earlier and then decided to follow. It's been a good two weeks since Azula's injury, and she's healed well enough by now-- if not incredibly crabbily. Today seems to be a good day. At least-- she's not openly sulking.]

How would I know? [It doesn't sound petulant or irritation when she says it, this time. Just bored. An indication of a good mood from Azula, to be sure.]

Honestly, Luke. Do I look like a farmer, to you?

Farming? What does that have to do with it? [Luke keeps on putting groceries away, smiling pleasantly. He's genuinely happy to see Azula in a good mood.]

Farmers are the ones who harvest and sell crops, Luke. Not royalty. Obviously. Were you raised in a cave?

[Ahsoka lets herself in to the Blameless to check on Luke, only to be greeted by a peculiar sight indeed. When she sees Luke meditating while doing a handstand, she can only stop and stare, eyes perplexed.

She says nothing, not wanting to disturb him and preferring to wait until he's finished, but her presence in the Force is clear as ever.]

[When he meditates like this, he gains a clarity he usually has to struggle to achieve. It comes and it goes, blurring his ability to measure time, making it impossible to tell how long he's been balancing. He only knows things have changed by his other senses.]

[Something shifts before him, bright and warm, like a flickering flame.]

...Ahsoka.

Sorry. I hope I didn't interrupt. ... Do you always meditate like that?

[ luke and kate have the same sort of idea -- except instead of forceful meditation, she leans (quite flexibly) more towards yoga. with the last of the chips she'd borrowed from clint, kate bought herself what passes for a decent mat, and she unrolls it a respectful distance from where luke is...standing on his head. alright then.

but when she kneels down to secure the laces on her shoes, she realizes her mat isn't staying put. first, its corners curl. and then like some slow lazy bird, it lifts off the floor. ]

Holy shit, [ kate announces her surprise, shattering the peaceful moment. ]

[Luke remains still, brow furrowed in concentration. After a moment, the mat falls flat.]

Apologies, Kate.

[ it's so not fair that she knows him from a movie theatre far far away, so she makes a point to at least play the fool: ]

That's a neat trick. [ she straightens. ] Magic?

luckily for everyone involved, sara just stills instead of any other very unfortunate possibility; and then she crosses her arms, taking a few steps closer to look the shuttle over.]

If you're going to Grand Theft Auto that thing, you probably shouldn't announce it. [never mind that it is theirs.] Where are you going?

Auto. It's a video game about stealing cars and becoming a criminal. [and...probably other things, but video games were never her scene.] Right up your alley, apparently.

[but it's not a bad idea, so she walks around to let herself in the passenger side.]

[That he's already doing something with the Force--presumably, since there's a crate hovering a hand's breadth off the floor in front of him--when Leia comes to visit seems fortuitous. Or more than fortuitous. She'd told their father she believed in the Force, and she does...and so she can't deny the possibility that it's bringing them together now. Maybe it really does want her to help him with his arm, even if she has no idea how she's supposed to do that.]

Is this how Jedi train?

[A little skeptically. Ahsoka hadn't mentioned this when they'd meditated together. Then again, Ahsoka had made clear she wasn't a Jedi anymore. The important question swimming in an undercurrent beneath what she actually asks: Does this mean I'm going to have to stand on my head if I want to learn this?]

[Luke feels his sister through the force, focuses on her brightness and intensity, the calming way their growing bond channels back and forth between them. It's a good thing to meditate on, and he gets lost in the gentle rhythm of its ebb and flow.]

[Maybe a little too lost.]

[When he hears Leia's voice, his eyes open wide, and he falls over. The crate falls to the floor with a slam. Looking up at Leia guiltily:] Oh, uh. Hello.

[Leia swallows a laugh as he stares up at her with huge blue eyes. Apparently, he wasn't expecting company. Crouching down a little, she offers her hand to help him up.]

I'm sorry. Did I interrupt something important?

[Like, oh, hand-stand meditation.]

You're not Logan. [She's also kind of assuming he thought she was someone else too since why would she be here except that she is. She does take a look at the plant though.]

[Luke laughs.] I hope not! I'm not a big fan of cigars.

[He turns to face her-] What's celery?

They're an acquired taste. The cigars, not celery. Well, maybe celery too. It's a vegetable.

I didn't know you were on his ship. [As if that's something Logan would chat about. Well... She still makes assumptions of him based on her world's version at least.]

[It's through some random exploring that Ciri ends up on this ship. And it's from even further wandering that she comes across Luke--she'd like talking to him, and seeing him in person was exciting. Naturally, she can't just say hello. Spotting him from behind on her way to the kitchen, she fishes in her pocket for something.

Out emerges a shiny, polished rock she'd bought at some novelty shop on the station. There had been other purchases--a small block of wood, a carving knife, some other little pretty trinkets for little girls that like star stickers--but this, she had kept.

And, of course, she deftly throws it in Luke's direction.]

[That's all the warning he gets.

By the way, Ciri is remarkably strong for a girl of her build. Oops. It's fine, right? He has neat powers.]

[A talented, highly skilled Jedi master could know this was coming. A proper Jedi could wave it away with the warning Ciri gives. Luke is neither of those things. He feels a vague tingling-- warning-- from the Force, turns his head a quarter of an inch to look for the source, and-]

[The rock hits him squarely in the eye.] Ow! [He whines. Clutching his eye, he picks up the offending rock.] What was that for?

[That did not go as planned. Ciri stares, green eyes wide, a hand coming up to touch her mouth. Oops.]

You were supposed to stop it! Make it levitate, like the pen! [This is his error. Definitely. Still, Ciri hurries over to make sure his eye is still where it's supposed to be.] Are you all right? Here, let me see it--
