Your regularly scheduled creepy visitor
Who: Cole and anyone who needs him... or wants to chat to him
Broadcast: No
Action: On any ship except Marsiva, Tourist or Red Fish because he avoids visiting two and can't visit the third.
When: While the fleet is moving and probably a bit after
[There is this thing Cole does.
He visits other ships. Sometimes he put the Pathstone alongside to visit and sometimes he takes a shuttle, but he's constantly wandering all over the fleet, being with people, circulating.
He hasn't done it in a while. He got a nasty fright and went into hiding for a while.
But the creepy psychic being is back! Sticking his large nose into all the business.]

Then balks at the question, shaking his head.]
Screaming despair, endlessly churning, choking, I don't want talk about that. You're jagged. Fraying. Can I help?

[Sends him a gentle smile that turns concerned as he rests a hand on Cole's shoulder.] Are you okay? You look tired.

SS First Breath
From Fenris, who he's certain will end up ambivalent towards him again and Hawke's not sure why he cares so much about it.
From Marian, himself as a herself and family but also not in a confusing knot.
From Riona, who he avoids now like the plague so as to keep his skin.
But mostly from Anders.
Anders that's not his Anders and probably won't become his Anders because he's here now and can't experience the things that make him the caring, driven person he's supposed to be, the person Hawke fell in love with. Instead, Anders is a selfish pissant who would rather cower alone in a tiny corner of his ship than help those in need and Hawke still loves him and he can't decide what infuriates him more; that Anders was ever like this or that he still has feelings for him anyway even while wanting to rap his skull against a bulkhead or two.
So really, Adalwolfe is wedged under the console with his arms covered in grease and wiring as an escape more than anything.
Of course, he's still himself, no matter how loud his thoughts are, and therefore vigilant. He pokes his head out from under the curve of the console as soon as he feels the presence of someone else in the room.]
Hello?
no subject
[Cole didn't walk in. He just appeared in there, drawn by the conflict and turmoil. He's perched up on a console, legs swinging and rocking back and forth absently.]
You're not the Hawke I knew. But I've met a few Hawkes here. They all hurt, in the same ways, in different ways, reflecting each other, reflecting their Thedas.
I'm Cole.
no subject
Hawke finishes untangling himself and climbs out from his crevice under the bulkhead, leaving handing wires for the moment so he can get a good look at his sudden company.]
Hello Cole, I'm Adalwolfe.
[He offers a smile, something guarded but still genuine somehow.]
Varric told me about you, back in Thedas. He's very fond of you.
[Less of the creepy way he seems to read people's thoughts and feelings like an open book, but Adalwolfe has something of a budding understanding of the difference between demons and spirits and he'd decided after his experience with Justice, and in the Fade with the Inquisition that there are spirits worth talking to. According to Varric, Cole is one of them, and Varric's word is always good enough for Hawke.]

[ Huntress ]
Hello Cole.
no subject
[Cole gives a very small smile in return. He's always calmer with Obi-Wan, drifting towards Compassion more than he usually does.]
You're less conflicted than you were about Anakin.
no subject
He seems to be doing fine, for the most part. And he has a lot of support.
[ Not any of them being Obi-Wan but he's not the kind of person to get upset about that. He's glad Padme and Ahsoka are there for him. ]

Oh, and then Allen and a bunch of others got the snot beaten out of them by some psycho.
Needless to say, she's felt better. It shows in the lines on her face, in the way her shoulders sag a bit more. But when she sees Cole lurking around the ship, she puts on a smile and approaches him quietly.]
Hello, Cole. How are you feeling?
no subject
People suffering.
He watches her approach.]

She notices Cole with a prickle against her skin, her eyes widening before she turns her head, hands tightening as she resists the urge to grab the blunt knife she carries with her, just to be safe. Instead, she steps forward, expression dark. ]
Who hides?
no subject
Cole regrets that decision, pressing back and shuddering, hands pushing over one another, like he can push the feeling off his skin.
He flickers into view just as abruptly, eyes wide with distress.]
You shouldn't be in there!
no subject
There is no fear in her, but there is hurt and pain, and there are whispers. She is a lost creature with no hope for her future, that has seen her family turn their back on her and the one person she loved take all that she had.
Now, she stands tall, trying to appear dangerous and deadly. ]
This is the ship I was given. You should not be here.

First Breath
Is it wrong that the thought of some Winter Soldier being loose makes me want to make sure there are defensive measures on every ship, or am I simply being paranoid?
no subject
No. It's not wrong, or paranoid. It has happened. Being prepared for something similar happening again isn't paranoia.
Augments go wrong. Sometimes it's endearing. Uplifting. Sometimes it isn't.

PAISLEY
Cole. It's Cole, isn't it?
[ He looks around the cargo hold. It's quiet. He should've heard? ]
How did you get here?
no subject
[It's written across him, spiralling out from that something in him, that something that was never allowed up and out to be healed and instead knotted.]
Atroma brought me here, like everyone else.

[huntress]
When he spots Cole in the hall, Mikleo feels immediately conflicted- relieved to see him alive and well, most of all, but also irritated and confused that it's taken this long to find out. He'd been distracted by his own illness and sorting things out with Sorey, but still, it had been a serious situation, and Cole had shut him out. This is a very poor follow-up on his part, so there's some guilt, too.]
...Good to see you.
