I must say the good folk of this stop are very kind - they have allowed my brother and I use of the mines and forges here in exchange for some trading. My brother and I are going to be working on some proper swords - if anyone else is inclined to a bladed weapon, we are happy to make you one as well.

Grandfather, Fingon, you needn't ask, but your help in the forges would be invaluable - Maedhros and I manage, of course, but neither of us are... what we were. And we have neither Father, nor Curvo, nor Tylepe here to point out everything we are doing wrong!

We do, yes! And for payment we ask for no more than that you help us cover the costs of the materials. After the recent events, I think it behooves us to arm ourselves properly, and I would not wish to deny any if they could not afford it!

What kind of blades can you forge? One of folded steel, for example?

I agree that being armed here is important. During the raid, I only had pieces of scrap metal.

If you'd like some help, I have some experience in weaponsmithing, though I'll admit that my abilities there are a bit dusty.

[Thankfully the wings are gone for now. And after that last attack? A good weapon sounds like a very good idea. And less likely to poke a hole in his ship than, say, a pistol.]

I'd be very grateful for a proper weapon that I can channel artes through. These firearms are interesting weapons, but they don't react well to lightning magic.

I know it's a little menial, but can you make arrowheads? I can fletch my own arrows but chipping the rock for the heads is kind of time-consuming.
